- Updated home page to include button that opens Steam Overlay for Factory Town 2 and Factory Town Idle
- Added button to minimize these additional game buttons on the home page

Why are workers ignoring the paths?

At the start of the game, there's a path from the berry bushes to the house, and the worker just runs through the grass, parallel to the path. If the purpose of paths is to speed up workers, shouldn't the worker AI actually make the worker take the path?...

The great music in this game plays well in Hydroneer

I recently finished playing Hydroneer which is a sorta okay, kinda a tiny bit of an automation game. It's got a similar visual style to Factory Town with the semi-cartoon/relaxed feeling to it. But the music was kinda ho-hum. So I found the Factory Town playlist on Spotify and just played that in the background while playing Hydroneer. The soundtrack for Factory Town is really great. It's not so muted and mushy that it's just boring but it's also not so obnoxious that it's hard to listen to hours on end. ...

Announcing Factory Town 2: Paradise!

Hello again! I've been secretly working hard on a true sequel to Factory Town. It takes place on a series of tropical islands, where you're building up a town at the foot of a giant (but friendly) volcano. There's more items, buildings, transportation gadgets, a day/night cycle, rotational power, electricity, flowing water & waterfalls, an optional controllable avatar, and lots more that will be developed & announced over the next several months.

Estimated launch date is loosely in late 2025, but definitely could get into 2026 based on how development goes. It now has a 'Coming Soon' page on Steam so you can wishlist it and get a notice whenever it releases!
