About GunZ 2

Completely unique action gameplay
In this game, there is no limit on how players move. In GunZ 2: the Second Duel, a wall is not an obstacle yet another path that provide tactical advantages. You no longer have to hide behind walls when you encounter your enemies. You can rather climb up the walls around you to take higher ground or move into enemies’ blind spot to launch vigorous assault.

Unique classes with various tactics and strategies
It’s absolutely up to players to choose which class to play. Unique classes are fitted with its own Passive and Active skills. Become a silent assassin wielding a long katana, roam around in the battle ground freely with a giant shield, or burn enemies with flame-thrower. The choice is completely up to you. (3 classes will be available at launch, more classes will be continuously be added)

Weapons… More Weapons!
In GunZ 2: the Second Duel, you can choose from 200 different weapons sorted into 13 different categories. Especially unlike conventional FPS games, GunZ 2 provides unique melee weapons which bring maximum strategic variety. Each class has its own ultimate skill that can dramatically rescue a friendly unit from danger.

Save the day with friends!
Play Campaign Mode to fight against the notorious mega corporation with super-national power. Fight against the enemies with action you can experience only in GunZ 2: the Second Duel.

Yet, it’s available for beginners!
Even though it is fitted with such powerful action, maneuvering characters in GunZ 2: the Second Duel is extremely easy. To run on walls, simply point your crosshair to the desired direction and tap on the jump key (Spacebar) rhythmically. Such simply control makes up incredible fast-paced stylish action.

GunZ: The Duel is Officially on Steam [We need your help!]

Hello everyone I know its been 3 years since the last update
It's finally happened. On September 30th, 2024 Masangsoft
has added GunZ: The Duel to Steam. At the moment, it is stated
that English language not supported. We need your help; this may
be the only chance we have to ever get to have an official server.

Voice your excitement over in the discussions. Show them there is still
a market even in 2024 for a global GunZ Server. Let them know
it's a mistake not to offer English support. Let them know the major issues
what ultimately caused GunZ global servers shut down in the first place.

Hacking
The lack of tutorials (Kstyle)
Pay-to-win
No-Anti Lead
Lack of updates and care towards the community.

GunZ 1 Hype Is Back!

Hey everyone, it's been a while!

If anything GunZ 1 related doesn't interest you, feel free to ignore this post!

First I would like to reintroduce myself. I'm Jeremy, known as Myth or Spoony.
I was very passionate about everything GunZ, I helped manage this group from the beginning with Dreadful, goes by Mizu, until GunZ 2 hype ended. Nice to see that there's still a lot of people still in this group.

The reason I'm posting today is because recently there's been a huge spike of new and returning players in the GunZ 1 community due to some content creators and streamers Hundreds of thousands of views the last couple of months, I'll have some links at the bottom of this post if you're interested. On top of that, the Super Smash Brother Melee community is starting to learn about it too and a few pro players are starting to play again.

That being said, I want to share the hype with everyone and try to make something of it. As you know, Mizu(Dreadful), post a couple years ago stating that GunZ could be coming to steam. Currently there hasn't been anymore info regarding that from the people currently holding GunZ licensing (Masangsoft). This is probably our best chance to show them that the game can thrive in today's market and have a solid player base. We, the community could use your help, all you have to do is play the game! If you make videos or even stream, this is a fun competitive game that is extremely rewarding after putting hours in learning something new.

There's a server currently that has ZERO P2W, every item is usable without donating. They have developers constantly working on it adding new feature such as discord integration, voice chat, and custom training settings such as god mode and bots which you can spawn and record actions to train against. The population has nearly TRIPLED since I started last month and is growing by the day. The server's community is extremely helpful to new players. They have mentor clans to assist anyone that needs the help and can be reached in game and in their discord. Thank you for spending the time and reading to this point. I know it's not just me when I say this game is something I grew up with and would really like to see it make a come back. Just letting everyone know if they didn't already, there have been developments regarding the return of Gunz via what looks to be the original GunZ: The Duel FaceBook page: https://www.facebook.com/gunztheduelonline

The first post I have seen so far involves a full upgrade to all the models while still using the original engine to preserve as much of the original game play experience as possible with a refreshed HUD and refreshed graphics.
