Another year, another mandatory announcement.

Once again, Happy New Year and thanks for being with us.

We grew quite a bit in the last year. Matter of fact, our group almost doubled in members. Also, a week ago our group celebrated its 4th anniversary (I know a shocker).

On a side note, I'm pleasantly surprised about the comment section. I thought when I open it to the public it would turn into a complete mayhem, but for the most part you all kept in order. Thank you for that.

Don't really have much of anything else to say, I appreciate every single one of you for joining the group. Hope you enjoy the stay this year as well!

Last year we managed to reach more than 2K members and 7 days ago this group celebrated its 3rd anniversary since its founding.

With that being said, I feel like the group doesn't get much action for the most part of the year, so I decided to take a different approach and opened the comment section to every member. I don't have any specific requirements or rules, just make sure to keep it civil. All unique ASCII arts are still going to remain in the categories in case the comment section gets out of hand in the future.

I kinda forgot to mention that we celebrated our 2nd anniversary of this group a week ago but I didn't want to make another announcement just for the sake of keeping up to date. Not much has changed over the course of the last year, this group didn't grow as much as previously and that's for a good reason. I tried making some new ASCII arts myself, some look better than others. However, that's barely anything in comparison to what the group shared when it was way more active in 2021. Who knows, maybe this year I might stop slacking and go the extra mile to make new content.

I made the group for spamming a friend of mine with different ASCII arts and thought instead of keeping the ASCII arts in a text document I'll make a group for this so everybody can do basically the same thing. You know what they say "sharing is caring". Turns out, this evolved into something else altogether, I no longer do comment for comment, thus it's no good for me anymore, but I didn't want to let this group die either. The only reason why I'm keeping this group alive is because there are people who actually care and, to my surprise, use the group. I mean I didn't know there will be random users who would willingly even join the group in the first place, all I thought without sending invitations to all of my friends, the group would only see declining numbers. Of course, big thank you goes to https://test-steamproxy.haloskins.io/profiles/76561198162342545 and https://test-steamproxy.haloskins.io/id/Ulfgard for sending mass invitations, without them the group wouldn't even reach 1k members. Think of this group more like an experiment of what you can do with groups on Steam. I understand, the Steam groups were intended for clans in mind but it's interesting to see all the other features which they have to offer.
