Hey guys, I've been working on a project that's hit the beta stage and needs gameplay critique.

How am I suppose to make good maps without the support of a community?

Is this an active community anymore? I'm just wondering. The website seems to be down, etc. I wouldn't mind hosting a forum if it meant having a community to map in.

The alternative is Reddit's /r/hammer and /r/CSMapMakers. I'd rather stick with Steam, honestly. Anyone?

hello everyone, I am not new to mapping but I am new to posting them online and looking forward to see what people like and want in a map. also I am willing to help out anyone who has any problems with there map's hope to test out some maps soon.

why arent i admin yet

Eventually figured it out. You need to use the ladder tool texture, then tick the 'ladder' visgroup box. The ladder group only appears though if the brush isnt an entity so you have to move it to world if you have it set as a func_ladder or func_detail or w/e.

Anyone got ladders working yet? D:
