Currently, I'm just trying to port over the connections from the group with the broken account ID, but I also know that only about half of them will join - which I guess is fine; I didn't actually post what I intend to use the group for so I don't know why they even joined. *lol*

Since I know you well enough & trust you enough - I can make you mod if you want, but keep in mind, this is an open group, so that will potentially attract attention that I thought you'd be uncomfortable with in the future.
(Mod users get pinned on the front page, rather then blending into the user-list.)

Currently, I make people mod of this group primarily so that they can keep the chat clean if any trouble comes along and I happen to not be around - (this isn't a requirement, though)
...and since Bee is already voluntarily in the chat and you're not...
(Also, Bee has been in such a role before and indicated umm... "enough comfort" with it)

Sure would suck to be one of those people who can no longer update their own personal (not group) profile after the new update restriction / spam filter that was rolled out in September of last year.
