The Fighting 13th Gaming Community

The Fighting 13th was established on July 21st in 2009. We have 100+ members from all over the world, and we support many different games such as Rainbow Six Siege, ESO, and ARMA 3. We are a casual clan, open to all who meet our requirements. Our ARMA 3 division consists of two main companies, based in the US and Europe. We play both PVP and CO-OP, and are a mature group of players that enjoy playing ARMA 3 in a more relaxed and casual setting. We are NOT a hardcore mil-sim group, we are simply a group of folks who play for the love of the game. However teamwork is the key characteristic we will expect from you. As long as you can function as a team player you'll do great with us.

To apply you must be at least 18 years of age, join Discord, be able to conduct yourself in a mature manner, and show respect for all players. We have 3 dedicated servers and endeavor to meet weekly for practices and COOP/PVP events.

[ARMA] Warlords Company Role-call

CALLING ALL WARLORDS/POTENTIAL WARLORDS

So I'd like to try and restore Warlords to it's former glory. Over the next few months I will have enough time to produce missions and organise events. Before I do this however, I'd like to know there is sufficient interest.

So I'd like all those who are assigned to Warlords to please reply to this thread confirming they are still interested in being part of the Company. Also, if anyone members of the clan who are not Warlords, but would like to join the Company, head over to http://www.fighting13th.com/topic/3546-warlords-company-role-call/ and state your interest.

Additionally, if anyone is interested in helping me run the Company, please say so.

I'll update the roster with my findings and go from there.

Prologue

In early 2013, a fierce conflict between US and Russian forces resulted in the Danish island of Bornholm falling into US hands. Many expected the US to hand control of the Island back over to the Danish government. However with the impending threat of more Russian aggression, the US have since been in full control of Bornholm.

As a result, Bornholm has become embroiled in a bloody conflict, divided into several factions fighting for control. Although the Island is completely occupied by US forces, there are two main zones which the US consider hostile. In the North are the Bornholm Rebels. These are militiamen who fight the US using guerrilla warfare. Although a small and ill-equipped force, they have proven successful thus far at causing damage to US assets and lowering US morale. These men want to control the island and form a new government.

In the south is a faction called Grey Watch. These were former members of a PMC who later defected to defend the Danish people. Grey watch were initially hired by the US government to help with the conquest of Bornholm, but upon seeing the lengths the US forces would go to to secure the land from the Russians, these men formed their own militia and are now dedicated to returning Bornholm to it's original government. The Bornholm Rebels are sworn enemies of Grey Watch due to their involvement in the conquest of their homeland in 2013. Although both forces are fighting a common enemy, they will also attempt to destroy each-other for dominance over the Island.

Nature of conflict

Both Grey Watch and the Bornholm Rebels utilise guerrilla tactics to attack US forces. The US army is very well equipped and does not hesitate to use all it's capabilities to destroy it's enemies. It is imperative that combatants of both sides do not speak of their involvement to potential enemies. Any intelligence given away could hinder their chance of becoming victorious in this campaign

This campaign will have both COOP and PVP elements in it.

Rules of engagement

As you will be playing the role of rebels, the Geneva convention does not apply. Strictly speaking there are no rules of engagement. HOWEVER, the population of Bornholm will react to how you treat them. If you kill their people, they will retaliate.

Choose your side!

Will you fight for Grey Watch or the Bornholm Rebels? Message me privately on the site telling me which side you want to fight for. I'll do my best to make sure you get your choice, although depending on what numbers are like, you may get assigned elsewhere. Both teams will get separate briefings and information. If I find out anyone has given any information to the enemy team outside the game I'll likely ban them from the rest of the campaign, so please respect the spirit of the game and get the most out of this new take on the campaigns. Whichever side you choose will be for the entire campaign, so choose wisely. (this may change from time to time depending on turnouts etc)
