I played D2/D3/D4, Last Epoch, Grim Dawn, but this game... This game is something else.
The boss fights and the dopamine hits when you get a rare drop is insane.

Best souls-like game ever

Easily the best extraction shooter I've ever played.
If you don't like Tarkov you should try it.

I've played the game for a few hours now, and personally, I really like it.
However, there are a few things the developers should consider:

F2P (Free-to-Play)
I think the game must become free-to-play over time, because a paid model simply isn't sustainable for a multiplayer game in the long run. This isn't like Overwatch, which can maintain its player base for a long time. This is a Harry Potter game, primarily for Harry Potter fans, which is already a niche group, and even smaller is the group of people who are both Harry Potter fans and gamers.

Monetization
If the game becomes free-to-play, there must be a paid store, battle pass, or something similar, because otherwise, it won’t be sustainable in the long term. Even the store design looks like this game will be filled with microtransactions. I don't understand why the game was advertised as having no microtransactions, because sooner or later, they will be necessary, and that will cause a major backlash.

Ranked Mode + 6V6 PVP
Obviously, during the first few weeks or 1-2 months, casual play will be enough, but if the developers truly want a committed player base, adding a ranked mode is essential so that players have something to strive for. Speaking of ranked: this can only be properly implemented with a 6v6 PVP mode.

Overall, I really like the game; it's well thought out, and I expected it to be much worse. The 3v3 + bots setup isn't too bad, but a 6v6 mode with real players would definitely be better.

Amazing city builder game with rougelite elements.

Hogwarts is huge, I mean really. I often get lost even after playing for 15+ hours, and it is filled with actual fun activities, plus the attention to details are just insane. In every corner you find something interesting. Not to mention the surrounding area(Hogsmeade, Forbidden Forest, Dungeons/Caves, Bandit Camps, etc.). The combat is incredibly fun and it can be challenging if you want to, furthermore there is a lot of loot.
And I still didn't say a single word about the sidequests, collectibles, transmog system, the broom flighting, talent system, mounts, room of requirement, brewing potions, growing plants, raising fantastic beasts, decorating your base, and much more.
The amount of content is massive.

Huge respect for Avalanche Software!

10/10 for me. Absolutely game of the year!
