Fruitbus is a charming game with fun mechanics, an engaging story, and adorable character designs. I loved how relaxing and enjoyable the gameplay was (when I didn't run into any game breaking bugs..) , and the cute art style really made the experience feel cozy. The characters are delightful and make the world feel alive.

However, the game has a lot of bugs that took away from my experience. My soups would randomly disappear while cooking, pears stored in crates would turn black for no reason (though tossing them in and out of the backpack fixed it) , some blueberries couldn't be picked because of an invisible wall getting in the way etc. Also, skipping certain cutscenes caused problems because they sometimes explained where to find important story items, and there’s no way to rewatch them if you accidentally pressed skip. The performance was also very disappointing - I was getting intense hitches and only around 50fps on LOW SETTINGS on a 3060, which in no way, shape or form should be happening in a simple game like this.

Overall, Fruitbus is a lovely game with a lot of potential, but it REALLY needs some bug fixes and performance improvements to truly shine. I would wait for future bugfixes and optimisation updates before buying this game.

My favourite part was when Alan said "It's Alan Wakin' time" and Alan Waked all over the place

Women want me, fish fear me. Men turn their eyes away from me as I walk. No beast dare makes a sound in my presence. I am alone on this barren earth.

Fish game good. Thumbs up. Actually two thumbs up. I would give three but I only have two thumbs.

I can't recommend this game enough! If you're a fan of the horror genre I really think you should give this game a go.

Darkwood is truly a unique and atmospheric game, and I absolutely loved it. It has become my favourite singleplayer horror game of all time, by a long shot. The game delivers a deeply unsettling and immersive experience without relying on cheap jumpscares (like a lot of other horror games), instead building tension through its spooky atmosphere, unnerving sound design and mysterious story.

The top-down perspective and beautiful, pixely art style add to the sense of vulnerability. Every corner you turn feels like it could be hiding something terrifying ready to pounce at you. The forest is alive with danger, and you never feel safe - not even in your own hideout. The survival mechanics and time and resource management add to the tension, as you must make some very difficult choices to stay alive through the night.

The characters, even though there aren't that many, are memorable and full of depth. One of the moments that really stuck with me the most was when I realised I got Piotrek killed. His dream of escaping the forest in his homemade scrap rocket tugged at my heartstrings, and the guilt of knowing I could have done something differently has haunted me since. Seeing his lifeless body and broken down rocket crashed onto the junkyard made me realise how all my actions have consequences. It's moments like these that make Darkwood such a personal and emotionally engaging experience.

The game doesn’t hold your hand, you have to figure out its many secrets and explore the oppressive forest at your own risk and pace. The choices you make, no matter how small, can and will change the outcome of the story.

In conclusion, Darkwood is an unforgettable experience, blending exploration, survival, and psychological horror into a masterpiece that stays with you even after you've finished the game. Just be prepared for the weight of your decisions and remember, All roads lead deeper into the woods.

You play as a character who decides to create a friend by collecting different organs and bones scattered across a melancholic city. You visit stores, restaurants and other people's apartments and go through their belongings in hopes you find something you can use to construct your new friend.

This game beautifully explores the themes of loneliness and our need for human connection. The art style and eerie, yet beautiful soundtrack create an immersive atmosphere that you just get sucked into.

As someone who has been experiencing crippling loneliness since moving to my own place some years ago, this game spoke to me on another level. Being so lonely while surrounded by people is definitely not something everyone gets. If you're someone who experiences loneliness a lot, I recommend giving this game a go! Its not too long, took a bit over 2 hours to complete and it was worth every minute.

Overall I would give this game a 9/10, I wish it would've been a tiny bit longer!

The atmosphere in this game was phenomenal, everything from the visuals to the soundtrack. It was really a step-up from the previous game. I encountered a few bugs during my playthrough like getting stuck on doorways and not being able to interact with certain items/switches but all of it was easily fixed with a quick restart. Some of the puzzles were more challenging which I really liked, there were a lot of new mechanics that took a few deaths to learn but nothing too bad. I have to say I was a bit disappointed by the ending but I guess it was something I didn't really expect. Overall this game was a very enjoyable experience and if you liked the first game you'll definitely like this one.

This is truly a masterpiece, perhaps the best game of 2019.
