Promising game.

The idea of a coop hardcore survival zombie game with limited resources and stamina is good, but the actual balance and the "realism" feel of it is lost on stupid mechanics like infinite enemy spawn in 1 room and clunky meele and gun mechanics, the game launched in a terrible state, and many months later its still barely playable.

In short. Very disappointing.
Another proof that a project with a large development crew leads to lack of consistency and quality. From a piss tinted overexposed fire to a poorly modeled assets and a complete lack of optimization. This is basically cinematic mod 2.0 (No boobs edition).
The only redeeming thing about this project is the quality of the weapon models and 16k rez textures on them. (Can't wait to get my hands on those weapons as addons in gmod).

It has never been easier to acquire anything you want with an abundance of activities, jobs and businesses. The game has really came a long way. Now if only R* could stop fixing harmless clothing glitches...

A very fluid and intuitive rouge-lite action plat former, there are obvious inspirations this game is leveraging from but in my opinion that is a good thing, we need more games like this, that take the best elements of other rouge-lite's and incorporate them in itself with a nice twist. Only the good stuff.

The room building system is a neat mechanic that keeps things interesting, the whole curse dynamic makes you manage your resources carefully.

Overall a very pleasant and fun game to play if you like these kinds of games, definitely recommend!

Garbage

Great story that and a fitting end to the Borderlands 2 story.
A good example of what good video game storytelling used to be..

Very solid HL1 mod, clearly a lot of work went into it.

The year is 2024, among the endless AAA slop shines a hopeful beakon of hope that is Abiotic Factor, or rather Half-Life 1 survival RPG wanna be that is made with love and passion. Very silly game, also very scientific.
