This game doesn't seem like it should be so fun or so pretty. I promise, it is. Just try it, I give it an easy 9/10
Here's why:

Pros:
- Incredible freedom, do pretty much whatever you want and progress story/questline at your own pace
- Looks stunning even though all the textures are super low res
- Decent movement tech with room for skill based manipulation
- Incredible mob/biome diversity I am constantly finding new creatures
- Robust building system with loose structural integrity checks

BIG pro:
Most systems have room for creative exploitation, whether that is chopping 3 logs at once, or creatively building a structure to fulfill shelter and fire constraints. This is one of the best parts of the game, it doesn't tie you down to one exact way of playing, which leads to each system having much greater depth. I hope the devs don't "fix" any of these, they add a lot of fun to the game without breaking anything.

Cons:
- Major time ♥♥♥♥, keep a clock or timer going or you may not sleep at all
- Server autosave is random and causes a half second hang/stutter fest
- I'm bad at combat
- Health system is kind of wack, but this is more personal preference

No skill debuff is funny af lol

All in all, this game seems to be a glimpse back in time to a different era of gaming. The devs are on to something for sure, lets hope they don't over "fix" it.
