I'd imagine if you mixed doom 1/2 with 2020-21 gameplay mechanics, lighting and a whole bunch of new, challenging and interesting levels, this is what you'd get.

enemy and gameplay-wise, it's phenomenal. Offers versatile scenarios, unique enemies, and on higher difficulties one hell of a challenge. The experience is on-par with driving your first car where you have no idea what you're doing. You start getting cocky after a while and ramp up the difficulty, thinking you've got the whole world of shooter games in your hand, just to get assblasted and wiped off the face of earth by shotgunners, imps, and running out of rifle ammo.

The soundtrack is on-spot, perfectly balanced with the game, offering intense music for the most intense of historical fights, like when you try to pick off that one imp that has the high ground over you, and you just can't seem to reach.

there's generally only one thing i wanted to address, being the face on the hud. I think adding the face wasn't a bad idea, although having the character unrevealed does add a pint of mystery to the game. Who's the psychopath running around, shooting through hordes and waves of demons, slaying the most colossal of demon barons, just to stupidly fall into a whimsy lava puddle and die?

I generally really recommend the game, since it offers a fantastic experience for people that are into fast-ish paced retro-like shooters. Definitely give it a try.

definitley recommen, though another thing i recommend is to not listen to the lads in a game who keep screaming at you, stating that you're not doing your job right :)
