Boring, uneventful platformer game with broken acheivements that you'll need to lookup a guide for to fix.

You play as a work, just wandering around jumping off different hills to progress upwards. There's no story, no real purpose, and not even a tutorial or instructions on how to play. I took a guess for the movements to be the AWSD keys.

The graphics aren't bad, but aren't very good either. It's a lot of reused landmarks and sprites as you progress, so there's no real change in the environment as your progress. It was the most uneventful 20 minutes of my life playing this game, I don't recommend anybody else to suffer playing it.

Heck I got it for free, and I still feel scammed. Skip O'Fox Life completely.

As a fan of the Overcooked franchise, this game was one I naturally came to enjoy playing. Each game mode you can pick different recipes (unlocks as your progress through the game) and a map layout to start. So there's lots of flexibility and variablility in playing the way you want to, or as a 2-player team!

The graphics are adjustable as well as the volume via settings, so you can go as high in details as you want, or low-quality for the smoothest experience depending on your CPU. It's very friendly towards players of all levels, from 1 star simple recipes like coffee, to 3 star difficulty dumplings!

You can also get better items (i.e More plates, danger HOB, Dishwasher etc.) as you complete each day. However, cosmetics in the game appears to be limited, as you only get so much new decors to choose from every time you reach a new star level for your restaurant. But that's minimal issue, compared to the real chaos and challenges ahead! From impatient customers, to dirty floors, and more - there's never a break, the moment you start the level.

This review only touches the general enjoyment I had so far. I'd recommend trying PlateUp! Especially with a friend. You'll enjoy it!

Hidden Cats - Snow is a quick HoG with the artstyle dedicated to it's title. It was a 5 - 10 minute experience for me finding all the cats scattered across the winter wonderland, which isn't a large map. The graphics aren't by any means detailed, but passes for a hand-drawn indie game. The game also provides a tutorial, and a leaderboard for the more competitive players. So it's flexible for both beginners and advanced gamers looking for a challenge.

I wouldn't play it again imho, but it's still worth trying out if you're a huge fan of hidden object games and kittens!

Hidden Superhero Cats is another F2P, find the hidden cats game that's easy to play and great for casual players. The graphics and animations are quite simple and minimal, but I can at least give credit to the nicely hand-drawn map. Plus, you can also invert the BG colors, as I find the white BG a bit of an eyesore when staring at longer periods of time. There's options to customise the selection colors and audio too from the menu.

It's an easy scroll and click, zoom in/out in the game, and you get timed hints too for when you're stuck. I find this game a decent HoG, especially for beginner and casual gamers. Do give it a try!

Hidden Tomatoes is back in this sequel, with the same tomatoes, but new hidden object achievements to find. Only this time, the hidden object achievements are trickier to find, as there are "fake" duplicates of the original item. For instance, I had to click through multiple cabbages, and multiple antennas until I found the original one that triggered the achievement and sparkle effects.

I'm always amused by the upbeat music, that supports the comedic environment, with all the randomness of decors and object placements on the map. From flamingos, to garbage bags, and even rubber ducky floaties - the game never fails to intrigue me. My only small complaint would be the re-use of sprites and objects from the first game, as that gives off a lazy development of this game. But regardless, it is still a fun, quick HoG for any casual and beginner players. Plus Hidden Tomatoes 2 is free, so why not give it a try?

Holy tomatoes! This game had me on a run for my money in finding all those red, round veggies, as well as the hidden object achievements. Both weren't difficult to find, only it takes time and much zooming in/out to spot them. The tomatoes all look the same, with no alterations nor change in size. All 100 are scattered across a large, 3D suburban area map, supplied with humorous upbeat BGM. There's also the option to adjust the audio and graphics quality too, if you aren't a fan of the shadow depth for instance. Thank god for the latter, as I found I easier to see the tomatoes without any shadow effects. The only animations are the sparkles when you find and click on on object.

Though the animation and effects are quite minimal, it was still a smooth game-play experience for me, with no lag nor bugs. I give Hidden Tomatoes a thumbs up for being a decent, F2P HoG!

Hidden object games from the developer has the unique features of being able to capture a photo in game, colour-in the photos taken, as well as customize the BG colors or change the music. The devs are very communicative with their community fans too, it seems. They named all the cats after fans submissions of their pet felines, and are still offering future players to upload pics of theirs too!

Cats and Seek: Toge Land is a large map with lots of details, decors and activities going on. It's like looking at a floating island, with cats hidden, and certain people you can also click to get the achievements. The game only requires a mouse, and I love the cute cat sound effects whenever you find and click them. Do give this game a try - you won't regret it!

As you go through finding all the hidden objects listed, you'll notice the rooms will fill in colour, by sections. That's a nice feature, for me as it makes it easier to search through the map quicker. The background is nice, and very busy, with bustling cats, gifts, toys and other holiday creatures! My only pet peeve is the limited list of objects - I'm not a big fan of only being able to find 3 types of objects at a time, and would rather have ALL the objects listed and interact-able from the get-go. Sadly it just makes the game unnecessarily longer than it needs to be ...

Thankfully the game provides a hints timer, and the game play itself only requires the click of a mouse. So I can overlook the issue above. It took me almost an hour to find all these objects, and I'm not new to Hidden Object games. Because of how controlled the progression is, and amount of objects I wouldn't suggest beginners or casuals to play this game. However, for those looking for a challenge in HoG, FIND ALL: Christmas is the game for you.

Now finding Capybaras is a new hidden object objective to me! Hidden Capybaras with Orange and Pumpkins was a short and fun experience for me, because of the cute and vibrant animations (i.e the glow-up effect when you find and click on a Capybara), the spooky loli-style music, as well as the Capybaras of course. These animals come in different shapes and sizes across the map; some are even in cute costumes, and others are a photo.

The graphics are minimal mono-colour, but very artsy and detailed. The map starts to light up brighter as you find all the hidden objects. Smooth gameplay, and settings to adjust the audio are there, too. I'd vouch for Hidden Capybaras with Orange and Pumpkins: Spooky Halloween Edition!

Arcade Full of Cats has to be one of Devcats best HoG yet! Each level is completely separate from the other in theme and entrance map style; like a timeline starting from the pre-historice age to our current millennia if you get the DLC. I highly recommend getting it for the full experience and for 100% acheivements.

The only small peeve I had was how the maps from 1980 and onwards was a repeat of the same Arcade building, only with some adjustments to the technology and furniture's. However, the mini-games that you can find in the arcade and activate with a coin makes up for it, so I can overlook this. Music is fun and upbeat, but can also be adjusted on the settings as well as resolution and other visuals.

The gampley was fulfilling, and you're looking for more than just cats - in some there's also cans of tune, feathers, leaves, etc. so there's always a new challenge and less repetition.

I had a blast playing Arcade of Cats, and can guarantee you will too. Try the free version, and see for yourself!
