Considered by many to be the black sheep of the family, but in my opinion has the best characters and lore in the series. It is a real shame we never heard from Aldia, Scholar of the First Sin , a well written character.
Gameplay is not really the greatest, level design and hitboxes are terrible, and enemies in NG+ and beyond hit way too hard. The bosses are mostly easy but some are annoyingly hard, especially the Smelter Demons .
Despite the downsides, it is a really good game and I recommend you not skipping it. Have fun and don't give up! \[T]/

Played this game a lot during my childhood (ZDOOM), still a great game with tons of new mods coming and an active multiplayer community (Zandronum).

I'd recommend this game for the fun with GZDOOM or just to get some nostalgia!

Mod recommendation: Brutal DOOM by Sergeant_Mark_IV (Totally different DOOM experience, trust me).

Awesome game, great story, characters and gameplay! Has some resolution problems and crashes when opening the game though, nonetheless it's a good fruit ninja simulator!

PAYDAY 2 is a very challenging game, levels get harder and harder as you progress through the difficulties. Over 1k achievements and a ton of dlc and content. Although it's not the perfect/great game..due to the fact you can cheat the game easily with mods and hacks and the game can be very buggy at times but it's still a good game..plus desync is technically no longer a thing. I recommend it I guess.
