Enemies approach me, weapons drawn, intent on killing me. I smile.
"There's a fine line between courage and stupidity" I say under my breath as I draw my sword from the hip.
"Let them come."
One of them swings makes an attack, his blade cutting through the air. I strike it with my weapon, knocking him off-balance. With a cruel grin, I grab his wrist, and force it forward, impaling my foe with his own weapon. He lets out a weak groan, barely audible over my grim cackling. I let go of the wrist, and grab the weapon, and throw it, sending it plunging into the chest of another. She doubles over in pain as I dash towards her and grab her leg, using my momentum to make her fall over, which pushes the sword deeper inside of her, killing her. I spin around, decapitating another fool in one clean chop, I grab his headless corpse and block an incoming strike before throwing it into my attacker, sending him falling to the ground. I stab my blade into his chest, and stare into his face, my eyes becoming full of life as his become void of life. An unseen enemy swings through the air with his axe, nearly hitting me. I dodge to the side, grab the sword of a fallen enemy, leaving my own blade stuck in the dead man on the ground. With a lightning-fast thrust I bury the short blade in his abdomen. I smile as the bastard screams when I twist my sword. I shove him away with my forearm. I throw the puny shortsword to the side. It is not worthy to be wielded by the likes of me. From my back, I grab my Dane Axe. A mighty weapon that only the strongest of warriors can wield effectively. I spot another poor soul approaching me.
"Bring it on."
As she tries to attack, I shove the haft of my weapon into her forehead, stunning her. I laugh like a maniac as I swing upwards, sticking her to the axe head, and heave her above my head, sending her flying into another foe, knocking them both over and sending them plummeting to their deaths in the river below. I scream in delight at their cries. I am unstoppable.

After the brutal battle, I emerge victorious, and begin making my way home.
When I arrive, sweat and blood soaking my clothes, sweat stinging my eyes, and dust covering my boots, I walk up to my room with heavy steps, panting. As I enter my room, I throw my weapons aside, and sit down on my bed for a while. After I've gotten my energy back, I strap on my Oculus rift s and start playing this cool new game called Blade & Sorcery. It's pretty good.
