The design and graphics of Stray are fascinating. This is the better part of the game.
The overall story and plot of the game are nothing special.
The bad part of the game is the interaction with the world. The stories of the NPC are boring and repeating. After some time I lost the desire to interact with NPC because the dialogues were so repetitive, and the stories that the NPC told were boring. The puzzles are simply obvious. The plot twists are obvious and clichéd.
The ending was supposed to make me feel something, but nothing. There were no emotions, simply the feel of another game finished, nothing more. In the end, there is nothing to remember. No emotions. No memorable moments.
I don't regret that I bought the game, but will I recommend it? Probably not. The game is overrated. Because, of course, everyone loves cats. I'm too, but this is not a reason to recommend the game and not notice the flaws of the game.

I can not stop comparing the original RAGE with RAGE 2. I finished the first RAGE a month ago, and I still have very fresh impressions of the original game. It's very frustrating to watch the reviews of both games. RAGE is fine but nothing more, RAGE 2 is great. In my opinion, the game is very underrated. Probably the main cause are the bugs that were present at the release. Now I am finishing the 3rd run through the game, and I cannot say that there are a lot of bugs.
The world is full of small details, the enemies live their own lives. The open world in my opinion is one of the bests in the post-apocalyptic setting. The gameplay is very fun and challenging at high difficulty levels. The only flaw in the gameplay are the bosses. They are too predictable and very easy in any difficulty.
The driving is great except during races. The ChazCar is very unstable not as good as other vehicles in the game.
The start of the game could be better. But after the first location, the gameplay becomes much-much better than the original RAGE. The shooting is fantastic and very dynamic.
Small update. I noticed that some time ago some bugs that I noticed early were fixed. Probably it was a patch or I was lucky. For example, in my first 3-5 runs (Nightmare, Ultra Nightmare, and my firsts Ironman runs on Ultra Nightmare) Gulo was invisible in her first appearance and the info trader in the same bar stopped answering after the first chat with him. Now after another 3-4 starts on Ironman, these bugs are gone for me.
