Early Access Review
Selaco whips. A single level can feel like playing Quake, Dead Space, and two generations of Deus Ex all at once.

It should be illegal for video games to have good writing. I'm going to develop taste and standards if play too many of these.

Replaying Blood Money is like diving into a pool of kerosene. Everything just looks and smells different for a while, and the vibe is intoxicating. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ love this game.

I highly recommend the Freelancer mode, where Agent 47 gets his ass beat by the gig economy. Just make sure you look up how to buy the right version.

With Indy in this game being a biscuit pilfering gremlin who returns most artifacts he finds, it's nuts how authentic and adventury it all feels. Not even in spite of the food stealing, people helping and culture respecting, but because of it. Helps that you can hold a rifle like a baseball bat and smack the ♥♥♥♥ out of fascists with it. As with anything from a violin to a sledgehammer.

The mysteries intrigue, the jokes usually land, and your whip gets a lot of use. Cracking the whip also sounds like a cannon firing, and Indy's fists carry the malice of a malfunctioning trebuchet.

It's all just so him, and now he's you!

I keep trying to fix a traffic jam by adding more roads that criss cross through the district. Now the traffic jam just covers a bigger area? It's like Gotham City if Bruce Wayne spent his money on bribing city planners.

If you want to do cool action ♥♥♥♥ in a fantasy setting, with party members that are actually useful, I now have two games for you: They are both called Dragon's Dogma.

It's weird, sometimes janky, and it drags a bit toward the end. I honestly wouldn't have it any other way, this ♥♥♥♥ is Dragon's Dogma as hell and it ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ rules. I swear uppercutting an ogre will never feel this good until they make a third one.

This game has that comfort rpg quality, where my first playthrough was like 183 hours, and now I'm just perpetually starting new characters on the PC version. You twist your ankle or something and just hop on the BG3 character creator for eight straight hours, dreaming about your life as a guardian of the downtrodden.

Also Cloud of Daggers is like if a lightsaber throw lasted ten ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ turns. ♥♥♥♥ is disgusting and I love it.

'Good writers are perverts' also applies here. Except this is a video game, so it's everyone from writers and other artists to programmers and level designers.

It's a prototype for a racing game, except you can actually go fast in it. Strong aesthetic and good music.

Not only do the devs know how to write a bunch of spooky ♥♥♥♥, they also know how to make good survival horror out of it. The presentation is slick and punchy, amplifying the wonderful atmosphere.

I adore the skillful, transparent melding of different influences. This game is like the Matrix of indie horror games. Real platinum ♥♥♥♥, so play it!
