No shadow stretches at my heel,
No darkened twin for light to reveal.
And so, the brilliance passes by,
Unburdened by my company.

The sun may blaze, a golden fire,
But finds no foil to lift it higher
Within the realm of what is seen.
I am the space where shade has not been.

Like clarity without compare,
A boundless vista, stark and bare,
The light exists, untroubled, free,
Because no shadow clings to me.

It's not the dark that blinds my sight,
But absence in the day's full might.
For light, unshadowed, knows no edge,
A boundless page, a silent pledge
Of pure, unburdened, stark display,
Where I, unseen, just drift away.
