I Enjoyed this DLC a Lot!

The Atmosphere and Music, and also a clever take of on Map Ressources in the Fights is awesome. Some say it is a bit easy and easy to chesse because you can build your troup however you want.
I really like the writing, and the atmosphere and having played Xcom and the like: This is a fresh wind with a 40K flavor. Happy for the second game coming out in the near future, but this is still a very very atmospheric Game for a Turnbased Tactic game :)

This Rogue-Like Game has a lot of Polish and cool arcade Shooting.
But you also can learn the way of the Game and get better at it by making different decisions. Different Ship Types and different options how to outfit your ship will make your game play very different from mine, jst how you like it.
some side Missions persist over several runs, but I never had the feeling of beeing overly powerful forever.
It is very pretty and one of the Best Games of the Genre.
Don't miss out on the DLC, it isworth it. sometimes this game feels a bit empty, but don't fear: Part 2 is an open world game, so totally different style, and absolutely fantastic too!

Rockfish games are cool people!

It is a classic for a reason. And unlike Part 2, it is a complete game without micro transactions.
You cannot go wrong with this game.

No FOMO
No evil money DLC Politic (just cosmetics to help the developer).
Everything except the fairly Priced totally optional cosmetic DLCs is included in the game and can be found by just playing it.

It's nice and all gloriously fun.
For the long Run I reccommend getting Deep Rock Galactic too if you want to do more than shoot together.
But here you can Shoot together really good!

This Game started our playing Spree of Arkham Game swith my non Game affine Wife in the backseat.
It made her appreciate videogames as a Work of Art.
This is the Beginning of the Awesome Batman-Arkham Series.
You should play them all.
