Turtle has a point, the American Indian has been the one group most hurt by USA. They are also the most ignored group in America. They need a voice, they need understanding.

...but ditch the flat earth joke. I know it's to trigger liberals and you know it's been confirmed round since 0 AD, but still, it will sink your campaign. People will pounce on it because they have no sense of humor.

Always remember that politics is about MARKETING yourself and your ideas, not just talking points. I recommend reading Chuck Muth's material on how to campaign and market yourself.

Also, I would suggest running for a local position (say, Alabama's STATE legislature or County Commission) in order to build name recognition. I'd vote for you because you are my friend, but most people won't. No one is going to vote for you for Governor or the federal Congress right now, and it's a waste of time and money to try. You need to establish yourself, maybe elect yourself into the Republican Party by bussing in friends to a precinct meeting, and work your way up.

Hey, I'd vote for you. If you live in Indian Country, have you considered actually going to reservations and advocating for Indians? They have been shafted by the feds for centuries, and no one ever cares enough about them to campaign there. Democrats rely on them as a smal bloc but leave them to die the rest of the year. Most Indians aren't political or interested in the white man's politics because the white man doesn't care about him and he knows it.

As a Cherokee Nation Indian yourself, with confirmed pedigree, I think you could find yourself in a place to reach out to Indians and have that common bond, even if your views are odd compared to theirs.

I am having a problem and maybe you can help me work it out. I got back from vacation a few days ago and we visited four corners monument. When I pulled out my National Park Pass, the person at the gate told me that it was a Navajo monument NOT a national monument and wanted to charge us $8 a person... my reaction was anger... four corners has nothing to do with the Navajo Nation except that it happened on Navajo land... am I wrong? Do I misread this situation?

BTW do you know the history of the Hell's Angels? After WWII a group of retired Airbourn troops formed a motorcycle club and started to ride around the US. It wasn't until their second generation (their kids and Fontana High School Ca. students) started to ride with them that they became the biker "gang" we know today.

BTW the amanaspation proclamation by Lincoln was NOT a legal freeing of slaves, Lincoln had no right to make any law. That right belongs to congress. If you actually read his public speech on the proclamation he stated he was freeing them in order to get them to join the military, because he needed more troops. He actually did that in late 1862, two years after the start of the civil war.

In fact Lincoln once said, "I care less if any slave is ever freed, if we could but preserve the union." He held confederate supporters in jail during the entire civil war, even against orders by judges who had jurisdiction to either charge them or free them. Yes he was a criminal.

it was a war to preserve the Union for the North, and a war to preserve the right for states to exercise a more separate government power structure with no Federal interference. until the war criminal Lincoln made it a retribution thing against the South: destroy everything south of Mason-Dixon Line because abolishing slavery = votes & instant re-election

How very interesting... the American Civil War WAS much more about "Rights" than it ever was about slavery. I thought I was the only one of the general public who knew that. Slavery was an issue, but not the major issue, states rights was the major issue for the Confederacy and succession was the major issue for the North. Slavery had very little to do with it until much later in the war.
