Early Access Review
As a kid, the very first thing I learnt about gears was that connected gears spin in opposite directions...
...but this game doesn't care about gear rotation direction

Instead you mostly make gear transmissions (to change engine speed by connecting different-sized gears)
It's the way real cars do stuff so it's still fine I guess... but I can't say I'm not disappointed with it.

A small game but still quite nice because of its simplicity
I set myself the goal of getting and understanding everything

Simple to learn card game.

From luck-based decks to decks-countering decks there are many cards that synergise well with several other cards.
While luck plays a big part in getting higher rarity cards you want (from the card packs you earn for free over time), there's still a crafting system (by destroying unwanted cards) if you really want a specific card.
As a PVP game sometimes you do badly lose and sometimes you win by a landslide but for me the RNG in this game keeps each match as a fun one to play even when losing

Pretty fun game despite being somewhat short/very simple

Irrelevant to gameplay, I did notice steam screenshot key wouldn't work and there's also no ingame resolution scaling options/sliders so i had exit fullscreen and shrink the window size if i didn't want to play at 4k on my laptop)... but there were a few cases where the game would force itself back into fullscreen which was a little annoying. Lag in this game (rare but at times performance got worse briefly for seemingly no reason) currently slows down actions like running and drilling which isn't great (looks weird to others in multiplayer)... but most devices probably wouldn't have any lag at all so that's fine and the game is still enjoyable

Great dlc (also the best one). Feels a little similar (but also varied enough) to the main campaign. If you don't try to collect everything some may say its a relatively short campaign but if aren't rushing the few missions, try make nice vehicles that work well (as you unlock new parts) and attempt to collect all chests as you go along, then there's enough stuff to do and its pretty fun. Although its mostly for air vehicles, some areas are still good for driving in (using the transform key (R) to switch) if you have a well made car. The map is also large enough that I can fly around comfortably at higher speeds which is nice.

Its been years since I played the main campaign so that might've let me want to make more vehicles (since, obviously, many of the unlocked parts are the same even if its not the same order). The only issue I've seen so far is some awful rock hitboxes (since rocks aren't actual terrain) in certain biomes that make it look like my car is sinking into the ground. Although its not a problem for this dlc, I still kinda wish logic parts were obtained right at the start of the campaign so I could have better custom controls right away... but maybe devs will eventually add a space campaign dlc with that or something.

Overall I'd say its definitely worth getting if you want another campaign mode to make new useful vehicles in, which is exactly what I wanted.

As a free player the main reason i stopped playing was because of the daunting inventory space problems.

specifically some mechanics (gilding shards) can't be stacked (or rather, since they have unique stats, save progress towards gilding them) so they waste too many of the limited free inventory slots. the combination of requiring 10 of one type of shard, with the chance of getting the same shard being lower the further you progress, and needing somewhere around 25 shards per character made this task seem too tedious to do with the small free player's inventory so... i Quit.

(on another note the most meaningful progression for me was playing daily missions, once every 3 days, to make progress towards unlocking new characters. since the missions are randomised you can't just do them at the same time as a friend every time so i often played alone)

This game has a rather clear line of progression despite having many items to merge. Crafting makes use of the merged items and while it is time-gated, limiting progress to one part (tools/capacity/etc) at a time, often you can still make a lot of progress merging other items for later until its done.
Later in the game its also possible to get more items to merge without actively playing and some of those idle mechanics are pretty nice if you don't want to play as often.

Since its just decorations, if you like the look of them then its fine i guess.

Parks have a few minor issues. Unless I'm missing some hidden workaround some of the pictures seem a little inaccurate (normal/garden paths always connect to adjacent parks so you cant make a straight garden path right next to any park like in some pictures). People also don't follow parks properly either (ignoring the fact they walk through all the bushes and stuff) - I've seen people walking in a straight line slow down by jumping into a moat to go around a small park just because a drawbridge was adjacent to the straight line of parks. Its also worth noting that the pond/pool parks don't count as a water supply like fountains or wells.

Statues seem completely fine though and its nice to have more decorations on walls

- Pretty thing with plenty of features that lack depth
- Frequent untested updates just add more bugs (and features) - but many bugs stay forever
- Every update HG-praising comments appear (even if its unplayable)

Sentinels was an update with good mechanics for once (still saw bugs though);
Others had unfinished models, unfinished mechanics, zero balancing, little integration with previous features, many obvious bugs - i doubt devs look at what they add, etc.

...that said ill still play it since procedural generation + casual exploration = maybe ill see something new today

Early Access Review
Has some nice mechanics. Starts off as an active playing game for quite some time with some offline calculations (only for 4hrs). For a few weeks it can be fun but when you run out of new upgrades you are left with a game that has only a few endless upgrades and a leaderboard system of endless grinders for those few upgrades (so leaderboard isn't any fun after that point too and there's nothing to do - but that can be attributed to early access).

Although it has offline stuff i feel that slowly gets less useful through progression because of the varied types of stats/skills - so it also requires leaving the game open if you want significant progress... which for any pc idle game seems bad to me (i don't like persistent, unnecessary fan noises from my device).
Might be better to play on mobile because of that... but then you have to deal with ads so *shrug*
