Game is buggy. I got stuck in a half crouching, half standing state when I interacted with a terminal in crouching state and couldn't get out of it no matter what. As a result I couldn't slide anymore.
The bugs aside, gameplay overall is fine. It lacks gunplay but the game introduces itself as a melee RPG, and the melee is good, so I won't fault it for it. It does however lack pickpocketing which is a big part of stealth especially in an RPG. speaking of RPGs, the attribute, and skill system is decent too.
Overall looks to be promising but I can't in good conscience buy it let alone recommend it because there is a "non-binary" option in character creation.

The product in question has been left in a buggy state as of last patch as well, so you're better off not paying for it.

After 13 years of being a humble sandbox, Terraria will (in its 1.4.5 update) include character customization blurring/blending male and female.

Basically, they removed male/female selection making sex an ambiguous notion in the game.

More inclusive and customizable character creation that allows players to mix and match different character styles and voices. A third new voice type and the ability to change the voice's pitch are also being added.

So sad they went from one of my favorite devs making masterpieces such as unreal tournament and gears of war to this.

Oh and the game's great by the way.
A lot of the said morons who are enraged are spewing lies in the reviews by saying the dev removed content and put it up as dlc. That is false. That content was previously available only as a form of early access for testing and it was never advertised as base content, in fact it was stated they would be removed later.

They nailed the gameplay. It is extremely addicting when it gets going, dashing from titan to titan, massacring the goofy looking bastards.
Pick levi as soon as you can and level him up to 7 to get wings of freedom. You'll become an unstoppable bay-blade shredding through every single limb on a titan in 5 seconds.
