The matchmaking is awful. I played this during free weekends like 2 years ago, and I bought it on sale a few days ago, completely different game from what I fell in love with.

First game I played, I played against 3 level 100 rank 100 prestige people running around the map. AS A LEVEL ONE.
All the DLCs are a turn off for me, really shows me that they are only in it for the money these days vs trying to add new maps, new bosses, and different variants of enemies.

There's VIOP in this game but I have not met a single friendly person.
Would not recommend it to my friends even if I was paid for it.

I can't even connect to these servers and I can't get a refund as well. Yay....
It's been 1-2 weeks since I've bought it. still can't connect to the servers.

It's ok. Not good but not bad.

Its good for the first 60 days but then proceeds to get harder and more boring as it goes

This game was pretty fun, it's nice and pretty. I enjoyed all the weapons, I enjoyed most of the levels
and everything runs quite well.

The problem for me though was the skills and what you needed to win.
Max out your HP only, Don't put anything into any other skills.
Litterly the only thing you need to do. Weapons themselves are already strong enough,
and you don't really need to deal that much damage to kill most monsters, maybe some.
but there is really only one play style and it's just full hp and kill everything or run past everything.

Wish there was more of a mix with the skill styles but if you go max damage you'll die in 2 shots, etcc etc....

It's a giant grind fest.
Most broken ability is to finish off enemies on the ground move.
Sit on top of a car and wait for them to present their heads, smash. Repeat process till you reach level 25.
it only takes 20 hours. *shrugs* the zombies will keep spawning and if they don't just move 2 feet away and they'll all be back in a jiffy.

Story was ♥♥♥♥♥, most of what the main character says makes me cringe,
he's suppose to be a trained opperative and yet he's putting his emotions into his work...
Ok... He's weak as ♥♥♥♥ for no apparent reason too. Like he's a trained opperative....
he's suppose to be a professional in this kind of field of fighting and intel....
WHY IS HE SO WEAK AND PATHETIC AT POINTS IN THE GAME? HOW DO I KEEP LOSING MY STUFF? WHY DONT I USE MY STUFF? I WALK UP A LADDER TO THE FINAL BOSS TO ENCOUNTER A QUICK TIME EVENT? BOI. I HAVE A SHOT GUN AND MY LEFT POCKET AND TWO MACHINE GUNS ON MY BACK?????? WHY AM I STANDING HERE WATCHING HIM SWING AT ME WITH A MACHETE THAT DOES TEN DMG? WHAT IS THIS GAMMMMMMMMMME?

There's just so many exploits in this game that it annoys me, the combat just sucks ass, like when you're fighting big ol muscle head, rais right hand man, he just keeps swinging and is actaully able to knock you down, BUT YOU CANT KNOCK HIM DOWN? OK. He litterly blocks everything, only time you get to hit him is when he's swinging which will also stun you. Then there proceeds to spawn a bunch of random ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ that only throw ♥♥♥♥ at you during the entire fight. PLEASE LEAF ME BE AND LET ME ONE VS ONE!

When the people died in this game, I felt nothing. They weren't interesting enough, they felt like side characters. I wasn't even enticed by rais, they tried to make him seem like a charasimatic super villain but failed horribly.

I've played this game sense it first came out,
My brother first purchased the game, and I played offline most of the time
so the hours aren't counted on his account.
I've played at least 200 hours offline.

The elements to the game like, Perma death, Level System, and the different amount of ways you can play make this game
an endless replayable game.

The RNG on items is awesome too, you'll never find one of the same item, unless it's the default weapons.
Sometimes you'll get a Strength +5 but =1 off of every other stat.

I'd say this game has endless potential for a rogue-like dungeon crawler game.
I really recommend this game!

Update - After four good years of playing this game, and waiting.
It finally came out. 1.0. There's now a final boss! There's a purpose now to the game,
there's a new leveling system, that I think is kinda lame, because the fact that you can simply level up and unlock backgrounds, then actaully working for them, but that's fine, makes it simpler for those new kids in this game :)
But there is a purpose to the shards now as well! I am surprised and baffled how they had finished this game in a way that makes me satified for waiting for 4 years. My love for this game hasn't changed and probably will never.
I entered on my first time in 1.0 as a warrior and went through all the levels like normal,
(without going to ruins and such)
and found all the needs to win the game, when I entered the final boss ring I was honestly surprised that there was a final boss, After a solid 1 minute fighting the boss as a Holy ATk Spd Knight I destroyed the final boss, I was honestly confused why it was so easy, until my second run as a mage, This time I went to all the ruins and grabbed all the shards, getting mostly all of the required items to win. I finally get to the boss room and see the boss, in my head I'm asking "What are the shards for?" I take a deep breath and dive right in, destroying the boss as well, but this time... Something was wrong. The boss didn't die. and my shards in my inventory had dropped and became one with the boss. This was the real battle I was hoping for... The Final Battle. Yep.
I died.

All and All, I really love this game, I've been around since it was first made, and I've loved all the devoplement and love that's been put into this game. All the pixel art, all the coding, everything about this game is what I love. There has never been a game like this before that's a TRUE rogue like game.

Also, People tend to say this game is "Clunky" "Dark" etc. It's kinda stupid what people say haha. This game is a hard core rogue like game that requires skill, you can't simply get good at the game by just playing and expecting to get better by learning what there is. Sure you can watch for traps watch for whatever going to hit you, but what you need to learn is timing, everything in this game has timing, EVERYTHING, the movement speed of your enemies the movement speed of weapons arrows, LITTERLY EVERYTHING, So it really isn't the producers fault that some people dislike the game, it's people's fault they don't like the game cause they simply can't get better at the game, You can say that it's the game fault for being hard as an excuse to justify why you can't get past level one, but in all honestly if you've only played 3-4 hours of the game you don't deserve to complain about how hard it is.

It's an alright game. I just didn't like the fact that you can barely see what's shooting at you or what's going to hit you.
Also the fact that you cant hear anything which makes the experience kinda seem... bland? but yea over all its a nice game besides the sounds and the animations on the weapon fire.
