Fallout: New Vegas is one of my all-time favorite games ever.
Back in the day, before I had 1K+ Steam games and the only "purchased" titles in my library were Deus Ex HR and Half-Life 2, I pirated this bad boy and dumped roughly 500 hours into it. Purely Vanilla. No mods up until very recently.

This game scratches that itch in a way I can't fully quantify.
I've beaten it start to finish a dozen times and still find myself reinstalling it for another build playthrough.
In a perfect world, we'd have New Vegas with Fallout 4's graphics and 76's exploration. But until THAT mod finally drops, I'll be playing this. Again and again and again.

I've dumped about 500 hours into this game (between Battle.net & Steam) and I ask myself why I keep coming back. I feel like a battered housewife with Stockholm Syndrome, crying into her wine glass as she prepares a sandwich for her abusive spouse.

Have you ever asked yourself: "Ya know, Steam has a bunch of great games spanning just about every genre imaginable. But where's a game where I can AFK for few hours and collect nearly 5,000 achievements; all while listening to some crazy Russian guy sing his little heart out with an Autotuner?" If you fall into this admittedly niche demographic then this is your lucky day.

(For real, I derived way more joy from the autotuned Russian singing than I probably should have)
