Lol, while I do recommend this game because of the artwork, nice background music, and interesting story and characters, there is one glaring issue: BUGS. If they fixed the bugs, I think it would be one of the better otome games I've played on Steam so far. But as the game is right now, there were several times I wanted to give up without completing the game because of the rage-inducing level of bugginess. There is an entire post in the Guides section for this game solely dedicated to trying to navigate around all the bugs.

I mean, TECHNICALLY the game works. You can actually get all the way through both routes. Just not without wanting to set something on fire at some point.

If the game is on sale, and you have an abundance of patience and time (it's a short game anyway) to replay certain parts because the @#%#^@#!@#$ game becomes unresponsive at random, the story does make it worth the pain, lol.

I'm honestly surprised this is free to play - I'll definitely be going to support the developers! :D

The artwork and music are both really good, and the storylines are unique. Each route gives you more pieces of Lucette's past. I'd definitely recommend going by the suggested order the developers have - Rod, Karma, Rumpel, Fritz, Waltz.

Lol, at first, admittedly, I kinda hated Lucette. I thought she was horrible until I started seeing the events that made her that way. By the end of the first route I absolutely loved her. She changed a lot over the course of each route, and I was impressed by how strong her character became. The writers did a really great job! :D

This is one of my new favorite otome games on Steam - it's definitely worth checking out!

Seriously impressive. I love otome games, and this is officially one of my new favorites. I've played the 3 available routes (as of 11/24/16 - more pending), and the work the developers put into this game really shows.

The artwork and music are really well done. The characters have facial expressions, and each route has unique instrumentals. I would buy the soundtrack on Amazon in a heartbeat if it were available.

Most importantly though, the stories are really good and engaging. Each route is unique to the chosen character, and the MC adapts to that. While the MC tries to uncover the mystery of what happened to her, why, and what it all means for her future, the guy you choose also his his own demons to face. You learn something new in each route as well - little details about what happened to the MC, which will probably eventually give you a full picture once you've played all the routes. You also learn more about the story world itself in each route, since the guys are all different types of supernatural beings. Even after the Main Story and Epilogue, there's still plenty of room left for a sequel, which I would also buy in a heartbeat.

It's clear in how detailed this game is that a lot of work was put into it. I know some aren't too crazy about paying for each route individually, but I absolutely think it's worth it. I've played a ton of other otome games where you buy the routes (same price as this game per route), and didn't get even half the quality content that's in this game.

Seriously, I will probably buy whatever these guys put out in the future - new routes, sequels, an entirely different game, or that soundtrack I'm dying for. *nudge, nudge you beautiful developers, you* <3

This is a cute otome game, and definitely worth checking out. It does have some points that could use some more polishing, but over all, this was a fun game to play.

Good Points:
~ Interesting premise and well thought-out story, which you get more of if you play all the routes.
~ Really good soundtrack. A lot of otome games fall short there, but this has voiced intro and ending songs, and several really good instrumental tracks in between.
~ Unique characters with their own interesting stories.
~ Good voice acting.
~ 9 romances (if I'm counting right?).
~ GxB and GxG romances were available.

Bad Points:
~ The artwork needs a little more polish here and there.
~ Recycled scenes and dialogue. Each character was unique, and I really wanted to see more of this reflected in their individual dialogue and actions. There are several scenes, however, that get shared among all the guys, and this is especially distracting in the romance scenes. This was probably the only truly frustrating thing for me, and the biggest problem I saw.

This is a good free game, and it's one of the better otome games I've found on Steam. I'd definitely recommend this one, especially if you like this particular genre of game. :)

This is a really beautiful game, across the board. The story has plenty of feels, and both the artwork and soundtrack are amazing.

I didn't run into any bugs or anything, but I definitely suggest using an xbox controller - the RT doesn't seem to work right with Playstation controllers, and I think doing this with a keyboard would be impossible (for me, at least).

I can see what others are saying about the sequences where you have to run, and there aren't any checkpoints, but I feel like the game would be too easy without them. I think those sequences, although *really* freaking difficult, add a good balance of calm moments and "holy #$%$#$%&#%$#@$" moments (which can also be rage-inducing, but worth it in the end). Also, considering that there aren't really any big boss battles where you're fighting off some huge monster - these running sequences are the boss battles, and are probably crazy difficult for that reason.

I definitely recommend this one - check it out if you like challenging platformers, and really pretty games with feels. :)

This was a fun game, with good replay value if you like finding multiple endings - especially since you can enable Story Mode (basically cheat mode) after you beat the game once. If you want to find all the endings, the Story Mode/Skip Seen Dialogue combo is amazing, and will keep your head from exploding from all the repetition.

Yes, exploding heads are bad... <-- name that badly re-worded reference!

And while we're referencing it, yes - this can be compared to Dragon Age, although it's much smaller in scale.

There's a system where certain decisions you make will effect the ending. I think some of the added content from the Deluxe Version also has an effect?

And then there's the romance options. There are 6 in the regular version, 8 in the Deluxe Version, with different combinations of GxB, GxG, and BxB. 4 of the romance options prefer either Saren or Elenor, but the other 4 are open to either character you choose. And, if you romance someone, it's reflected in how the Epilogue changes.

The dailogue is really well-done too. Dependinging on whether you choose Friendly, Joking, or Forceful, you get different reactions from people, and most of it is pretty entertaining. :)

The biggest difference between the two games is the battle system. In Loren it's turn based, like what you would see in an older Final Fantasy set-up.

I definitely suggest getting the Deluxe Version of this game. Without it, there are 4 characters you won't get (2 of which are romance options). Check this one out if you like RPGs, games similar to Dragon Age, and/or games that have romance options. :)

I was really surprised by this game, in a good way. The artwork and puzzles were interesting and imaginative (without being rage-inducing), but my favorite thing about this game is the story. There's a cool balance between the light-hearted aspects of the characters, even at times with Monster himself, and the deeper backstory. The further I got into it, the more drawn in I was. I don't want to get into too much detail and ruin the story for you - so I'll just say it's absolutely worth playing, and I highly recommend this one to anyone who likes deeper stories with their gaming. :)
