To start, I think this is an excellent game. The combat is better in almost every way. The new team members are awesome, and the new jobs are great (especially Desperado)! But I bout this game to see how Ichibans adventure continues. Why does Ichiban become a side character in his own game? I get people love Kiryu, but if I wanted to see his story wrap up, I could have played Yakuza 4, Yakuza 6, or Gaiden. All of the marketing told me this is Ichibans next adventure, and yet I spend about 2/3 of my playtime with Kiryu instead, since they can't imagine a game without him, even though they have a great potential protagonist with Ichiban.

How wild is it that Bethesda's best game of 2023 wasn't Starfield. Really makes you think that investing 7 years in a tired formula and engine might not be the best
