Not Bad, don't come in with expectations that this is a sequel to A World of Keflings, because it isn't. Controls are fine in my opinion. I like the teleporting feature at the top, could give you options to build different towns across the map. But yeah, its a VR Keflings game, don't really understand the mostly negative reviews.

ONE BIG THING HOWEVER:
Steam Link through a Quest DOES NOT WORK with this game, at least for me. The game crashes once you start it up with steam link, Will edit review if it does get patched.

I really hate to leave negative reviews, especially for Tenderclaws, but this game is just not it. If you expect this game to be similar to VVR 1, this is not close to it. This should've just been a separate game called Scottsdale. Anyways, the reason for the negative review is not that the game doesn't match to the first one, the reason for it is the bugs and some other stuff. This game came out on Oculus 8 months ago with also a lot of bugs, but there were 2 bug fixes after. I've played for a hour and already ran into plenty of bugs unfortunately. I've went out of bounds when going into first person in the mech, items jittering, enemies spawning out of bounds, and almost all voice lines get interrupted and get talked over. Also had the Snail Boss fight just freeze on me.

Pros:
-Great Artstyle
-Decent Enemy fights
-Movement without the Mech is pretty good
-Amazing Soundtrack

Cons:
-Mech Movement is a bit bulky, would've preferred just first person movement instead, there's teleporting in first person but its not that great either, in some areas I shoot the ball to teleport into a invisible wall.
-Tons of Bugs
-Voicelines keep getting interrupted by the slightest movement
-Some of the objectives are a bit difficult to understand, like where to go
-Completely different game than VVR 1, VVR 1 had jobs and the likes of that you do, this is more of a adventure game and should've went under a different game
-Story really doesn't tie in from first game

I really wish this game was good, it's fun for a bit, but the mech movement which you use for almost the whole game isn't that great, and the amount of bugs this game currently has is just upsetting. Hopefully they release a bug fix which fixes most of them, but I've ran into so much bugs where I had to restart the game, enemies not activating, bosses getting frozen, etc. If you do want to check out a great game from Tenderclaws, check out The Under Presents.

This game was basically my life from April 2020 to January 2021, and April 2022 to June 2022. They had Live actors that came to the desert at random and interacted with you, did shows, did storylines and hosted games to play with players. I stayed on the game constantly during the 2020 run, the 2022 run wasn't the same as they did not do any storylines and that was the main reason I stayed for 2020. Without actors, there's not much to do when you've done everything, from beating timeboat and seeing all the areas in the desert. There's also a decent amount of bugs, and there is not as much players playing anymore, so some of the areas in the desert you can't access anymore as they require more players. Overall, its a decent game, but amazing with the live actors.

Very good game, Concept and Gameplay is good, puzzles might get a bit challenging at times, as of the first week of the game release there are a few bugs that are sometimes annoying, but in my experience they mainly happened at the start of the game, didn't really get anymore game breaking bugs after.
