Low-key hate L4D2, playing other games made me realise how unresponsive L4D2 is and honestly I despise it. The unresponsiveness of this game makes for a miserable playing experience with any latency or packet loss which I deal with on occasion. I know it’s an old game but it really hasn’t aged all that well in the hit registration department. The graphics are acceptable, some community maps map L4D2 look amazing but in general it’s meh. Speaking of the workshop it’s bloated and full of mods which have too many tags, it is obnoxious to traverse.
Sunk so many hours into Campaign/Realism Expert on official maps, custom maps and the Survival game mode. The game itself is boring. Only fun with friends, if even. The game is also littered with trolls and not so nice people. I have an extensive blocklist just because of this game.
Frequently ask myself why don’t I uninstall and why do I keep coming back.
Met some cool people but also some genuine psychopaths in the making.
