Not only is the story great (written by Tsukihime's and Fate/Stay Night's author, Nasu), but the visuals are also impressive; everything is positioned and animated in a way that makes the novel seem very dynamic. Every scene looks like a CG. The music is extremely good, too. There was a lot of effort put into this VN and it shows.

I've been following Pocket Mirror's development since a bit before the original demo came out; all of the artists behind it are super talented and poured lots of love into this remake, and it shows. Not only is the game visually impressive but also the story is great and the puzzles are really enjoyable. Lots of QoL changes were made to the game when compared to the original (which was really good by itself) based on community feedback, which is always appreciated. Astralshift is great and I can't wait to see what else they'll release next.

I'd really recommend this game to anyone who enjoys RPG horror and puzzle games, visual novels, intricate pixel-art or stories of self-discovery, but I believe anyone would love the game regardless of their preferences. It's a great game! <3

A great stat-based visual novel where you'll see consequences to your every decision with lots of replayability value, as you'll see a different perspective on the story and characters depending on your choices until you can get the full picture. Bonus points for having several lesbian couples back in the early 2010s, too. I really enjoyed the game back when it released and still enjoy it nowadays.
