While I don't like the game's story as much as the previous mainline title and it didn't really fix some of the gameplay problems DXHR had, it's still a fun enough game that I would feel good recommending if it didn't crash as often as it does. These crashes include either straight to desktop crashes or hanging on the loading screens, and were in some cases 100% reproducible.

Everything this game does, it does in service of further selling you on the mech pilot fantasy, and the end result is that it absolutely nails it. Near flawless game that doesn't outstay its welcome, strongly recommended.

Not as good as the previous games or many of their other games for that matter, but I enjoyed my time with this.

It looks, sounds and feels like Psycho Pass with most of the cast from the first season well represented, but the story suffers from a very uninteresting main antagonist, and some "plot twists" that are so predictable that seeing the characters struggle and/or fail to figure them out in the different routes causes mental damage. The worst issue by far however is that there is a large amount of scenes that are 99% similar to other scenes that you cannot skip through without enabling the force skip option, causing you to risk missing the 1% that occasionally differs.

Enjoyable historical sandbox with lots of options and lots of complexity. Falls short in several areas, both related to gameplay and business model. If you can (somehow) get it cheap, it's definitely worth it.

First and best game in the series, at least on PC. Fantastic world design that ties back into itself in awe-inspiring ways. Somewhat slower combat where knowing what you're doing is incredibly rewarding. Good variety in both viable builds and viable paths to take from the start. Summons to play with friends if that's your thing. Only real shame is the performance.
