Played it back then, it was a real nice game.

Sadly poor performance on newer systems. Massive flickering of light/shadows. Apparently a known bug for years.

It was friday night and i was ... FUNKIN!

A very good piece of software. Can recommend it without a doubt.

Here are some tips:

- use a USB Hub and the connection extender (Vive) to get the dongles away from your pc
- seperate the dongles at least ~20-30cm between each of them (otherwise one or somethimes multible start cutting out sporadically)
- let the dongles face your playarea and directly "see" your trackers
(Signal can be absorbed by your body and can cause slight issues)
- cover reflective areas (TV/mirrors/etc.) to avoid tracking issues
- move your base stations so they point to the center of your playarea and have them at least 2meters high for optimal coverage ( consider a 3rd Station if you have a more complex area/deadzones)

Cant say much for continuous tracking but for "normal" Tracking:

- calibrate each Tracker with the option "very slow" for the most amount of samples.
Afterwards you just have to recalibrate the hip Tracker again - the others will be oriented at the hip tracker again ( I normally play 3-4 hours in VRChat and only have to calibrate once)
- Quest: before starting SteamVR, recenter your playspace by holding your Meta Button (so orentation in steamVR is correct)
Dont do that while using steamVR with trackers or it will mess up your calibration!!

Misc.:

- Use lighthouse Manager (github) so your base stations turn on when steamVR opens and turn off if it gets closed (requires Bluetooth on your PC (BT Dongle works fine))
- Add Space Calibrator (and lighthouse Manager) to your SteamVR "autostart" in the SteamVR Settings ( faster startup and no need to manually open it )
- Name your Tracker (and Dongles) for easy troubleshooting
- your have to recalibrate, if you take of your headset. Preperation is key! If you dont use continuous calibration, try to prepare if you wanna play for a while ( eat before playing, use the bathroom, etc )
- Bonus: Quest Pro Controllers also work fine for calibration, but i suggest turning of hand tracking when tapping controllers together ( it drives me nuts when i have the tracker and controller in my hand and hand tracking randomly turns on

Nowadays its just a huge, outdated mess. Everything feels clunky and unpolished.

Die Story ist in Ordnung aber recht kurz.

Der wahre Reiz liegt im Kampf- und Questsystem, welches stark an MHW angelehnt ist.


Den Vollpreis finde ich etwas zu teuer, daher kauft es am besten im Sale!

Es werden persönliche Daten gesammelt.

Auch solche, die völlig irrelevant und für das Spiel nicht nötig sind.


Es ist mir schleierhaft, wieso so etwas gesammelt werden soll.

In den AGBs steht ebenfalls, das Ihr dem Publisher vollen Zugriff auf eure lokalen Dateien gebt.

Großes "No No" für mich.

Edit1: Es handelt sich hierbei um mein Review und somit auch um MEINE Meinung.
Wenn Ihr mit solchen Sachen keine Probleme habt, das ist das auch völlig ok und ich wünsche euch viel Spaß mit dem Spiel.

Ich persönlich finde dies allerdings nicht in Ordnung und möchte mit meinem Review damit aufmerksam machen.
Besonders, da es bei Netease, die im Hintergrund agieren, bereits in der Vergangenheit Daten gestohlen wurde.


Edit2: Wenn ihr euch aus der Datensammlung austragen lassen wollt, geht das via Email an Netease. Scheinbar gibt es dazu keine Option im Spiel.
Leider ist dies auch erst dann möglich, nachdem ihr den Bedingungen zugestimmt habt.

Auszug aus der Netease Privacy Policy:

Parkour kann teilweise sehr merkwürdig und frustrierend sein, aber ansonsten einen gutes Spiel.
