Game looks great, brings back all of the feelings of when you used to play Halo as a kid. Gameplay is smooth as silk once you rebind every key. Not too many options to customize your multiplayer experience and battle pass/event pass progression leaves much to be desired. For a free Halo MP experience, it's wonderful though.

I LOVED this game. I'm a sucker for horror movies and this plays right into it. It was much scarier than Until Dawn and I cared more about the characters than I did in Until Dawn. All positives.

There are some flaws (sometimes the jump to cutscenes doesn't match where my character was at or spelling errors within the captopns/subtitles) but other than that, I really, really enjoyed it.

I know a major gripe is how short it is but here are my two arguments:

1) It's short enough where I can replay it in a night and see what else happens without burning myself out or going through a full 12 hour game.

2) If you go see a horror movie, you pay about $15 for 2 hours.... so paying $30 for 5 hours.... or more hours if you decide to replay it, doesn't sound too bad. It definitely has replay value.

Overall, I really enjoyed it. It was just what I expected and what I wanted. I can't wait for the next one!

Heck of a lot of fun.... even when it's rage inducing!

Everything about this game is fun. My only complaint is that if you put too many items on the battlefield while you are in sandbox mode, it drops frames and lags like crazy..... But really that's on me, not the developers!

Not as good as the first but still fun to play! If you haven't played the first Simulacra, give this one a shot! If you like this then definitely buy Simulacra because the puzzles, the secrets, the story is all so much better! This one was spooky enough but honestly, I found it to be more gross than scary. Very creative though!

Very addictive. Community is kind of toxic but it depends. Don't let it get you down! Super fun!

Cute art style for such a gory game. You can make the game a sit down and click simulator or control your gladiators and actually fight!

I haven't played as the actual gladiators because I prefer to sit back and enjoy the fights so I can't really say anything about the gameplay there.

I feel like it's not super user friendly and it's easy to miss things that will make your life easier on your first playthrough but it is a lot of fun so you will want to play through it multiple times.

It's an improvement on Emily is Away BUT my review for this one is different because you have to buy the game to play.

The Good:
Being able to customize your profile is nice and the profiles for your friends are better and have more humor in them.
The layout of the game is better. You can access profiles and chats much more easily.

The Bad:
The drama is too high school for me. I don't know what I expected since it very obviously takes place during yours and Emily's time in high school but it was SO annoying and made me roll my eyes into oblivion. I might be too old to enjoy this game. If high school aged me played this, I might have enjoyed it more.

Overall, the layout is an improvement but the story sucks. I'm glad I picked it up while it was on sale.

For being a free game, it gets the job done. Short so replaying for achievements or to get different outcomes/responses is easy. Easy to predict Emily's moves/responses and unsatisfactory ending but hey, I only spent 30 minutes playing through my first playthrough so I don't feel like I wasted time. I say give it a shot!

Creepy feel, very atmospheric. The voice acting/acting isn't very good, but if you can get past that, then it's a decent game. It has a lot of replay value and depending on what ending you get, you will definitely want to replay it (I know I will). I know one of the four endings and it was a very lackluster end, which is why I want to replay it. I feel like it was worth the $5 even with the bad ending because I had fun playing it!

One tip: TAKE NOTES. Have a pen and paper with you!

AMAZING game. One of the best games I have played in a while. Great characters, great humor, exciting QTE (which is a big deal!). The music is phenomenal. Only negative is that the story has a lull in the third act where it's a bit too slow paced compared to the other episodes but if you can get through the third act, you will be back up to speed!
