Previously in LoD, but from another author, you could buy an item, and then absorb the item for its cost. In this case, the item from the inventory, for example, disappears and the effect "Sange and Yasha" appears above the HP scale. You also get all the bonuses from this item, but it does not take up a slot in your inventory.
