Things that may seem insignificant and superficial from your perspective can leave sensitive people scarred for life, never mock them for not "just getting over it already".

A long time ago I was kicked from a Team Fortress 2 competitive group without notice nor reason given, later to find out that it was the leader's girlfriend forced me out, being jealous that I offered to play her class.
I concluded this because the leader then told me that I'm being kicked from the group because "I wasn't being popular enough" then he tried to explain as "most team members don't like you", afterwards everyone I asked never even knew I was being kicked nor have any idea who didn't like me.


It is astounding the types of players who join matches in groups of three or four so they can unite to kick those who "are not good enough" or "are a dead weight on the team" -Players of any kind of competitive 5v5 where solo queue is mixed with group queue. (on cs:go they kick you to control the bot afterwards as an "extra life" per round for them)

For many of us, games have a deeply personal and specific meaning. We like the games we like not so much for their craftsmanship or content but for the way they engage our minds and spirits. While some others just become a dopamine junkie gamer, addiction is dangerous people.
