There is about 150 Hours of typical, Solo Gameplay. This includes two main stories and reaching the Seasonal Diamond Rank. Beyond that, there are many additional tasks to do, cooperative gameplay, and PVP events that occur two to three times an hour to keep you engaged.

Better off buying a Fortnite Battlepass. At least you'd get to keep your month-of-enslavement's hard work.

Don't buy this game at full price. Also, if you don't have a significant other or a friend to help feed the maintenance boxes, don't buy this game at all. The moment you need to take a break from the game, all your stuff decays and it's brutal. All your boxes..ahem..All your materials and schematics (aka hard work) is gone in an instant. This game enslaves you and that is just trashy game design.

Nice, chill, hunting-gathering, survival game--with colonizers.

Play Single Player if you want to enjoy this.

PvP sounds fun. However, just know that a power gamer will show up to your base with hundreds of explosives and destroy all of your hard work, while you're offline. Pets and minions do diddly to defend. So, as "an online multiplayer survival game", it's terrible.

I love the game. I have all the DLC. I've spent the hours. But, the community is a toxic cesspool. Stay away from these people.

With dedication, you could be sculpting, rigging, and animating your own ugly, little creatures in about a month. Prepare to spend hours watching YouTube tutorials.
