I'm telling you that you will love this game if you're a fan of its gameplay. I just have to sum everything up over the last game as everything is taken from it and greatly improved upon. UI is simple and easy to navigate. Gameplay is fun and intense but can be annoying at times. It's just you and your team, your gun, and the enemy. You only have objective markers and an idea of how much ammo you have on screen. Nothing else. You are there to fight with your team and win.

If you liked the idea of the first insurgency and its gameplay like I did well sandstorm is for you. I felt like the original was too cluttered in UI, gun customisation was just weird, physics were odd, the graphics/maps where just unclear/grainy making it hard to play/spot.
Sandstorms graphics are so much better and cleaner, however they are not greatly optimised. I had to drop my settings down to medium on my decent setup to get a steady fps. Although it would run easy at ultra it would stutter for no reason.
I like the character customisation, it doesn't make you seem like a god, everyone is very similar just all personal preference.

You can play against bots if you are new but jumping into a game puts you with whatever rank/skill players. Which is much better for learning and is more realistic I believe. You learn how and where people hide, how they react, you can talk to your team and receive orders and learn from experienced players. But playing against low rank/inexperienced players can have a bad effect on how you perceive other more experienced players to react meaning you will have to relearn.
However you will have to deal with angry and toxic players, especially in Australian servers but that's pretty normal. Usually its because of a new player being the last guy and being too scared to play/not playing objective.

Ping can be a big issue. I have no clue what servers it tries to connect me to but some are just really bad or whether its the Australian servers or all servers being broken at times. Nothing to do with my internet.

Audio is fantastic however my only issue is footsteps. Quite a few times the enemies footsteps are way to quiet compared to your team. Based on playing various games including where footstep audio is bad or boosted for the other team, this is just strange, I could hear a guy walking behind a wall but not someone running full sprint up stairs.

Also I noticed few people say death cam shouldn't be in and I kind of agree. For being a semi realistic shooter, it can give away positions easy which wouldn't normally happen based on that you respawn. The other half of the time it just faces into a wall.
Unlike say a game like Tarkov where you don't respawn in the match, you have no clue. You just died and that's it.

I do hope they fix some of the issues/odd mechanics.
Overall its 100x better than the original, you just need to decide if you like the gameplay of insurgency.

Awesome game and highly recommend buying it. Fun and erratic gameplay but also hell to start off. With it being very repetitive.

MAJOR BUGS
I earned around 20-30k for my run, which didn't get put on the leaderboard because after escaping, my car kept driving in the background while in the menu and crashed, causing the game to just watch my car and losing my score without being able to go back to the menu.

Going anywhere near a canyon and easily being able to save yourself kills you instantly, yet at times I've even been able to drive in the canyon which shouldn't be possible!

But what can I say, its PAKO. I still highly recommend this game, with its extreme action, well done 80s/90s graphics that aren't badly done or stereotypical like in other games, it has its own style which I've always loved and i'm sure you will too.

Great but hellish game.
It's extremely hard and the best way I could describe it is a bullet hell but with cars.

I've played this on mobile but this is completely different.
The added features over mobile such as braking, boosting and power up crates are awesome, adding variety. But it is a bit hectic and annoying.
Police seem even harder from what I was used to playing and their difficulty and IQ go from dumb and spinning around to fighter pilot at mach 10. Although police have always been hard.
Good fun game and amazing soundtrack, recommended you buy when on sale.

Early Access Review
So far, this has been amazing. For reletively new, early access, I entirely enjoy it.
Having the whole 90s RPG side scroller while designing when your playing is awesome, it just works and is something i've been looking for and is really helpful.
Theres heaps of tools you are given, so far they can create some insane worlds even with limited items at the moment, but you can import to expand on with your own sprites, sounds etc!
The music is really brings that 90s connection but also very deep which I love so much that I bought the OST.
The sound effects that you can change with tools creates atmospherics that are super immersive even if they are very obscure.

The two things I would love to see is more theme packs, to give more sprites, characters, sounds also with the current game expanded upon. This will benefit people who dont necessarily want to design everything.
The other would be more GUI editing.

Of course you should expect bugs, but so far they have been minor incidents for me.
The Dev BARCH Boi is very active even on discord.
I really recomend this so give it a shot!

What can I say...
Its soccer with car equipped with rocket fueled nos.

Which now has a "battle pass" system which is good but also is a money machine tactic like fortnite.
Dont mind it dont hate it.

Is a fun game.

I recently replayed SOMA, last time was early this year and It still blew me away.
If youre looking for a story rich game horror to play, this is like no other and I extremely recomend it.
An absolutely amazing game, I enjoyed ever single bit about it and I dont wish to spoil it for others.

The crucial part about this game is the atmosphere, it's insane. Best played in a pitch black room at night with no one around, make sure you have good headphones. It scared the hell out of me, put me on edge at every moment and every location. It gives you anxiety of the series of events that could unfold, if a monster is with you lurking in the constant darkness or if the place is going to ripped apart.
The story is amazing, so much background is along with what has happened to the world and its people, it really makes you question if the event that has occured someday could happed to the world.
Altho gameplay is kind of simple, you can interact with pretty much any item or interface, it's much more of an exploration and stealth game.

No other game is comparable.
It did exactly what it says, I questioned my very existence.

Great Game.

You can read as many reviews as you want, there's plenty out there.
IMO. Very recomended to buy this, it's better on sale but it's still worth the price.
With the Horizons DLC, Beyond, being updated at chapter 4 the game is becoming even more immersive and giving some new things to do.

Gameplay is really cool, very immersive and an amazing experience.
Getting ships can be a bit of a grind, theres ALOT to learn. Even as a game in our Milky Way galaxy theres still alot the most experienced don't know.
Most amazing community i've ever experienced in a game, very supportive.

Overall if your looking for an amazing space game, do buy!
