Usually, I quit after an hour, and I have little patience, skipping every cutscene. But that didn’t happen while playing this game. So, is this game really that good?

This game immediately grabs your attention with its unique storyline: you play as Sophie, a chambermaid who not only cleans the rooms but also uncovers the secrets of the guests. What initially seems like a curious glimpse into the lives of others quickly turns into an exciting journey full of intrigue and moral dilemmas.

I am an incredible fan of the 1950s style. The hotel rooms are exceptionally detailed and evoke a nostalgic feeling. This makes you want to keep exploring. You see something, and it raises questions: Why do I see a discarded cigarette here? Why is this dangerous liquid here? The atmosphere of the game is also well-visualized. This style is beautifully brought to life while playing this game. Additionally, you start to feel more and more sympathy for Sophie. She is a complex and intriguing character who is very curious. Her curiosity feels natural and human, which makes you feel curious as well. The interaction with other characters in this game is also very well developed. This makes you like some people more, while others you might even come to hate. I noticed that I thought extra carefully about the choices I made and felt genuinely nervous about whether I would get caught. I personally find the art style very beautiful and fitting for the game. They also make excellent use of background sounds and voices, such as whispering. This makes the game feel like a movie where you get to make the decisions.

Besides exploring, you also need to solve puzzles. These are not too difficult, but also not too easy. In my opinion, the difficulty level is well-balanced. Since you have to clean the rooms, you have access to all of them, making you the least suspicious when sneaking around to investigate. You examine the room, inspect objects, and try to make connections. But don’t forget to actually clean the room! Will this curiosity get you into trouble? Just like in real life, your choices always have consequences!

I really enjoyed this game. The game has multiple endings, but I didn’t find it challenging enough to play again. The story grabs you right away, and you want to know more. Your hunger for the story is strong, so you don’t skip any cutscenes and even try to find extra information in the game (like reading notes, etc.). The combination of exploring, making choices, and experiencing their consequences is really well executed.
