Yeah, I liked this more than the base game. It doesn't drag itself for too long, and has some nice puzzles, but still remains what first half-life mechanically is.

Every few years I remind myself that this game has awesome first-half, and the most ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥♥♥ latter-half of the game.
Movement is actually fun (except for few moments where player can get stuck), this game has some of my favorite guns (tau and gluon), I don't mind on the rails chapter, but I DO mind the latter-half of the game.
It gets very jumpscarey, where the only way to not get damage is already know what will happen, level design gets very confusing. I absolutely hate alien soldiers, you can't evade their shots, they tank everything.
I guess, impressive for its time, but now..? Leave it in the grave.
