Burly Men at Sea is a delightful story about... Well, the title says it all. There are some burly men who are looking for a treasure, so they get on their boat and start exploring the sea. And then stuff happens! A whale. A storm. A meeting with Death.
Each situation is a small diorama to push and poke with your mouse. There are no big puzzles to solve, but just small moments that can have different outcomes depending on your actions.
Each playthrough is a new trip around the sea, with different events happening every time.
It's all very joyful. I like this game a lot.

More of a digital toy than a traditional "game", ISLANDS allow you to fiddle with virtual dioramas full of plants, elevators, dim lights and concrete blocks.
Those spaces aren't real, and yet can be eerily familiar. They remind me of parking lots, waiting rooms, half-deserted malls. Of wandering inside a school building after everyone else went home.
They're silent and empty, and yet not spooky. You can bother their peaceful desolation by clicking around, but they don't seem to mind.
It's a quiet non-game for a quiet night, to be played with a blanket over your shoulders and a cup of chamomile.

Early Access Review
It's a bit like Dark Souls but it makes you feel cool instead of miserable.

It's one of my favourite games! <3 I technically finished it, but I still like to open it just to take a stroll

It hurt a bit too close to home to be a pleasant experience, but netherless, it was interesting.
