F***, this game is honestly the most fun I have had in a while.

To give you a little timeline I joined in right after beyond light dropped with a team of around 6-7 clannmates (IRL friends) who were also new.

I joined this game because my friends convinced me to play it and I was really astonished at the gun play. Everything was so confusing at first but it was crazy how rewarding getting new guns and getting kills felt. I had some help from someone that knew more about me and took me through the ropes. Strikes felt like mini little missions that i could go through to explore the past campaigns. Gambit was a gamemode I have never seen before in a FPS before. The story and lore had me sifting through my equipment for hours to see what was up with the universe around me.

When I first hopped into PVP it felt so unfair to play (♥♥♥♥ STASIS) I had not bought beyond light at this point. I bought beyond light (not for stasis) and stasis made it easier understanding the mechanics and getting used to the aim was more important to getting better at PVP. Even using light classes, I feel like i do well against stasis users.

As I was playing more and more, I got into the raid and our team of 5 being under-leveled, tried the deep stone crypt for the first time and got our butts handed to us. I loved the challenge of the raid and tried and tried again until everyone in our new little clan finally finished the Deep Stone Crypt. I have tried other raids as well and my favorite is last wish.

Now, I have alot of hours into destiny for my time here. and for people who want to pick it up here are some pros and cons

PROS
- The best gun play around for a shooter looter. No other game will compare to the tight controls and rewarding skillful aim
- RAIDS: (YOU NEED TO BUY THE DLC TO ACCESS THIS) the best endgame activity that requires coordination with your fire team of 6 that drops ok to godly loot.
- Atmosphere: The worlds and areas you have access to are beautiful and the game looks amazing.
- Music: Everyone raves about Deep Stone Lullaby but there are so many good tracks on destiny. Some of my favorites are Journey, Shell of What Was, Keep of Voices, Look within, and so many more.
- Playing with Friends: If play solo, that is absolutely okay. But, it makes it so much more fun doing new activities with friends like the Harbinger quest to get Hawkmoon and presage to get Deadmans tale.
- Destiny just released a road to witch queen the next big expansion for destiny 2 and there are so many things that are worth reading like sunsetting being sunset but i cant cover them all here.
- LFG: Stands for Looking for Group. 90% of the people here will be super chill and this is the main way for solo players to find people to do raids or higher level content that need an actual fire team of 3 or 6.

CONS
- Almost everything FUN is LOCKED behind DLC. I personally would pay for the DLC again but to some others, it will not be worth it. But ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ why does RAIDS, STASIS, and other good items have to be locked by DLC. I wish there was a raid for F2P players but that will never happen.
- The Grind: this will get mitigated but still the grind for loot and high armor stats is a timesink. it will eat away hours maybe even days to get things you want.
- PVP: like i said before stasis is legit broken. For new players, if you also don't have stasis it will feel unfair unless you have god tier aim and mechanics. But good news! stasis is getting a nerf. Still broken but will get nerfed. There are many more problems with PVP such as maps not being added and even being taken away or not getting enough tuning/updates to make it feel robust because 9 times out of 10 you will die to a felwinters lie (a godly shotgun) just because that is the meta.
- Gambit: If you love all gamemode like me, you'll notice that gambit is unloved by bungie and they havent touched that gamemode in years and it shows.
- not having enough people to play with: Unless you use LFG or have 3-6 people to play with always, it is so hard trying to solo everything. other than raids, its not impossible but it is hard.


Destiny is a great game. But i do recommend to wait till there is a sale or bundle for the dlc if you want it.

I cant seem to find the game you guys. All i see are these websites that tell me to bet my skins and i do but i cant find the play button anywhere. Valve plz fix.

PLEASE i got this game and it is so good. i love how i can just go away and pick it up again. If you like long term strategy games less intense than SC then this is the game for you. i have around 112 hours on this game.
