THIS GAME HAS SOME OF THE WORST DIALOGUE/WRITING A VIDEO GAME HAS HAD IN MANY GENERATIONS

With that out of the way, holy moly is this game fun. If you can get past the pages and pages of completely unnecessary, ham-fisted conversations you'll have, as well as a few voice actors who are absolutely Strangely cast, then you'll love this.

SUPERVILLAIN
- Writing, talking to anyone: Clunktastic. Can't stress this enough.
- An absolute ungodly amount of tutorial pop-ups, especially in the first 5 hours which can feel like a slog. I'm 30 hours in and still getting them.
- Hub-world is really poorly designed.
- Bizarre social/friendship system that probably could have been integrated much better.
- Cutscene and facial animations don't hold up to the level detail you would normally see in a narrative-based game. Which this game isn't, making it all the weirder they tried pushing their models to do it this way.
- Collecting resources is a very weird, unnecessary hassle.
- The "Abbey Swimsuits." If you know, you know.

SUPERHERO
+ Mix of Slay the Spire/Tactical Combat is A+. Some of the most fun I've had in a strategy game ever.
+ Each hero plays so differently and as you unlock new ones it keeps the gameplay feeling fresh.
+ Similar to the above, trying various combinations of heroes in a team becomes an exercise in strategic theorycrafting that's super satisfying to watch play out.
+ Lots of choices to be made in regards to upgrading abilities, cards, technology around the hubworld, training certain characters. Makes it feel like you've got lots of options on how to build your unit.
+ Supervillain battles are GREAT. Each plays totally differently and make you reassess strategies you thought you had once the battle begins.

OVERALL: This is such a weird game. Combat and gameplay are really, really fun, but I would imagine a lot of people will not make it to when the game starts humming because of the slow start, cheesy dialogue, and ho-hum story. If you do stick it out, there is a great game underneath it all.

Tooterific game. You'll learn about Baboons, Hot Dog, and music history they refuse to teach you in school. Mozart was a bad person and this game doesn't shy away from addressing that.

Some of the best puzzles of any escape room game I've played. Great game for $4!

Great, simple, indie, point-and-click adventure game with really, really funny writing. If you've got an itch for some quick, episodic point-and-click - this will scratch it.

One of the best puzzle-solving/mystery games I've played since Return of the Obra Dinn. Really clever premise and execution. I'd recommend going in fresh and not looking up too much about the game beforehand.

If you're looking for a Crazy Taxi set inside Blade Runner that trades in The Offspring songs for a lo-fi, synthwave soundtrack and a really cool narrative and story, then play this game.

Driving feels for the most part, and the cockpit view is a fun change of pace, but you're gonna be playing this to listen to a story. Dialogue dips into overly corny and cringey and good amount, but at its heart this is a very cool game that will make you feel things. Highly recommend.

Awesome 'escape the room' style puzzles mixed with point-n-click adventures. If you are a fan of either of those, you'll love this.

Brilliant puzzle game that makes excellent use of VR. If you're into the Room series at all and have VR, this is an easy recommendation. At $30 it's definitely a bit steep for a 4 to 5 hour experience, but I'd say it's worth it. There aren't enough VR games set in the early 1900s anyway.

Straight up, it's Dark Souls with guns and it's very good.
