A fun little autorunner with cute japanese aesthetics, collecting pantsu, and some amazing synth-style music to go with your fun adventure of tormenting a japanese neighborhood. Easy game to 100% (though a bit long in order to get that one last achievement unless you are amazing at autorunner games), and has quite the challenge for avoiding all the obstacles the little doge has to deal with. Pick it up on sale.

A fun little autorunner with Shiba Inu and Japanese aesthetics that's quite fun for the half hour or so it takes to get all the achievements. I like the small easter eggs and fun noises of the birds and cats when you interact with them. It's basically just a new version of the original Montaro, with some more music and a new area for your doge to explore. For the short playtime, I highly recommend getting the title on sale.

It's literally a game that gives you funny images and letters for you to use on your steam profile, no questions asked, no need to do anything. Just run the game for a little over 50 minutes, and you'll have everything you need. If you are looking for gameplay while Steam almost crashes from the achievement feed, You're better off looking elsewhere. I had a purpose for it, maybe you could find one as well.

Ah yes, a timeless Valve classic. Where do I even begin with this game?

-Firstly, this is the FPS zombie survival game that so many others try to match or beat, and yet, over a decade later, this is still the benchmark for a game that is so easy to pick up and play.

-Secondly, the modding community for this game is simply outstanding. You want cool guns from other games you play? You got it. You want to just cover the game with memes from head to toe? God forbid furries, or even adult content? Yeah, there's mods for those. It can make any playthrough feel fresh or make you die laughing, given how much you want to mess up the game to your liking. No other FPS zombie survival game can even match this community's modding, and that is all thanks to the good ol Source Engine.

-Third, you can still find games to play with anyone, and the game is on sale so often that it's easy to pick up this title for under $5 even. At the time of this review in the steam winter sale 2024, the game is $2. You can't even cook a meal for that price, and you get a game that can easily give you hundreds of hours of fun. I might not have 100 hours, but I also have so many other games to play and typically only run it when my friends are on.

In closing, this is such an easy game to acquire, learn, and even run on the most potato of PCs thanks to source, and it might show its age here and there, the game overall as a whole has aged so well with the gunplay, zombies, gore spatter, and so much more. If you don't have this in your steam library if you use this application for anything besides free games, what is wrong with you? It's objectively better than Back 4 Blood, the spiritual successor to this title, and this game will still be a kingpin of its genre for another decade.

For the simplicity of this game and what it delivers, It's basically a convenience store version of diner dash that you played on your phone about 15 years ago. The gameplay is addictive, and while the game is short, the fun I had adding furniture and figuring out what to feed my cat to make new genetic variations left me on the edge of my seat in anticipation.

Now while I say the game is short, it's honestly endless, it's the achievements being unlocked so fast that make the game not feel as long as I say it is. But hey, if you see it on sale, in which its already under $5, and looking for a quick short jaunt in a more in depth retro mobile game, it's hard to beat a cute, but fun experience full of cats, evil dogs, and even customers that are funny in their purchasing habits, or creepy at some other times.

For being my first ever NBA game, I have been deeply enjoying it while ignoring the microtransactions. I grabbed it for half off a few weeks ago, after watching a Fumble Dimension video showcasing how they added an Eras mode that lets you go back into the day with retro aesthetics and play as or against some of the biggest stars in the league. While I don't consider myself a hardcore basketball fan, I do like seeing ways in which I can alter the past, and the my career mode also feels like fun. While I know most people buy these games year after year and are disappointed, I've been deeply entertained and could probably just have this one title to stave my occasional addiction to particular sports for several years. My only complaint is why do you need all these microtransactions for a yearly release? I know call of duty and other games do the same stuff but it seems rather dumb to add such things to a yearly sports game where most of the time the new title is really just a roster change. It's not just a problem here, its a problem with all sports games at this point

just to say this up front, This game was the reason I picked up a Quest 3. Sound pathetic? Yeah, for being a Furry and not wanting to touch VR Chat because the furries there are somehow worse than dealing with Redditors, it's hilarious.

ANYWAY, this game beats you up, having never used VR in my life, and this is coming from a fairly active person irl (I am a CNC Machinist by trade, 12 hour workdays, lots of upper body movements and activity etc.) I actually feel like I am doing something rather than just sitting there and hoping something happens. Not even guitar hero had me this hooked the first time I saw it, but I also like games with very complicated mechanics that are easy to learn but extremely difficult to master (its why I got over 2k hours in CSGO/CS2).

Now was it worth the 500 dollars I dropped on a Meta Quest 3 headset to spend another 30+ to play this game? that is a question you will have to ask yourself. but for me? this was absolutely worth it just for the short time I have had it.

Dont get me wrong either, this was not the only reason that I picked up a VR headset after waiting since the Oculus Rift came out ages ago. My other reasons was waiting for a headset with much better AR capabilities releasing alongside Half Life Alyx. Beat Saber was what got me hooked originally, however, and I am very happy it has done so.

First Impressions after about 90 minutes worth of play:

Pros:
-UI update is great
-Now feels like an actual challenging Nascar game, probably the best since Nascar 05
-Draft partner mechanic works, the lead of your train will try and make moves through the field at Daytona
-goal times are a challenge AI is not afraid to door or bump you, even if you are not rivals with them
-you can and will break loose if you are careless
-the miniscule adjustments to your setups actually matter as much as they should
-you can now more easily dump somebody in front of you by making slight contact instead of plowing them and they barely falter from their line. (not that I race dirty, but can be effective for bump and runs which were hard to do in previous titles)
-Your name appears in place of other driver's names on the vehicle itself, even when you are driving somebody else's car/truck. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS, 704!

Cons:
-WE NEED MORE SPONSORS AND CONTRACTS WITH THEM!
-Slight sound bugs whenever you wheel hop or spin into corners with more worn tires or with other AI around you
-Spotter volume seems really low even for turned up high, barely able to hear Jeff Gordon over the engine
-AI is sometimes too aggressive

Summary:
Easily the best Nascar title since EA's 2005 Chase for the Cup. If you have been wanting a proper challenge in this franchise, this is the best game yet and will highly reccomend to any fan of the sport. Did I mention Jeff Gordon and Tony Stewart are in this game? Please keep up the good work, 704, you have done nothing but greatly improve this series and are quickly bringing Monster Games back to their prime Dirt to Daytona form! (all I would like is some extra career depth, please!)

To start off, Project cars 1 and 2 actually feel more different from each other than what other people think, but the penalty system in this game is a bit excessive, but more realistic. It is rather enjoyable with the degree of immersion, though. The only caveat that was also from the first game was the lack of actual tracks, as there is still a lack of the proper versions of Suzuka and Monaco.
