Scratches that JA itch I've been having for a few years

LP2 > LP1 > LP3

From best to worst, this is all you need to know!

Overall LP3 is not a LP game, but still an enjoyable game nevertheless.

Great game.

Initially having owned Lost Planet on the Xbox 360, I really didn't give it a chance previously.

I'm glad I went back to it 10+ years later.

Grew up playing the OG Castlevania, Simons Quest and Super Castlevania IV.

Still great now as they were back in the day.

Finally managed to complete Simon's Quest after 30 years so I'm a happy chappy.

Loved playing some of the other castlevanias that i never had chance to play. The gameboy versions whilst nice to visit, I'll never play again as I wasn't particularly interested in the gameboy when I was young and these versions confirmed why.

Overall the Castlevania collection is a nice revisit I liked the scanline/crt filters which I happily applied as the pixel graphics look vastly superior when applied to the traditional crt feel.

My only downside to this game is that the is no game exit. So I had to alt-f4 outta the game everytime.

Game looks amazing and I'm itching to get into it, unfortunately I've been on the receiving end of the invisible enemies bug rendering a notoriously difficult game, near impossible to progress. I've tried numerous fixes as advised yet no dice.
Hopefully FromSoftware will sort this out soon and I can change my review but currently (for me) its unplayable.

I still own the original SNES versions so I'm in the fortunate position to play these as they originally intended.

If you've never played these games in your life, then I highly recommend this set of games.

They ooze charm and character and your only doing your self a dis-service if you pass on these gems.

I've been shouting for these games to be ported for years so I'm a happy chappie.

ZAMN > Ghoul Patrol

I've had Samorost 2 & 3 sat in my library for ages, but always felt I needed to play the first game before I even attempted the others, glad I waited.

Its just a short game I finished it in around 15 minutes.

Glorious visuals and nice chilled music, which I needed on a break from working.

Recommend if you fancy a quick easy on the eyes experience.

Great variation on the pac-man games.
Really liked the endless chase and all the power-ups.
Even my 4 year old daughter loves playing this, so if it keeps her quiet for 10 minutes its a win win all around!
