37fps on DLSS balanced preset which knocks me down to 2k from 4k.

I haven't played any of the cop or cleaner roles once. I go prole, get enough cytes to go scumbag, and set out with pipe in hand for the most intense suicide by cop ANEURISM IV has ever seen so I can get straight to terrorism.

jenkem never smelled so good before

People want this to be a GAMMA successor so bad, it's not. Don't want or expect it to be. The core of STALKER has never been what GAMMA brings to the table. That wasn't true in 2009, and it isn't true in 2024.

If you want the most hardcore experience possible with STALKER, you're going to have to wait for mod support. Enjoy cheesing the game by eating 20 sausages and washing it off with vodka like god intended in the mean time.

Aside from optimization issues (which are rightfully being pointed out right now), the game is flawless. Feels like classic STALKER brought into the modern era. The story is deep and engaging, and the world is detailed and beautiful. The gunplay and general engine feel is a massive step up from the cobwebbed X-Ray engine.

I lost myself in this game on release day, and can't wait to put all the time in to fully experience it.

one of my favorite games to come out recently

its very fun as is with friends and I would recommend to almost any group. but i hope to see further updates and additions to content.

they made a mechanic that could be the worlds simplest ui, a dance dance revolution mini game

Performance is great, I don't know what everybody else is talking about.
