After 1400 hours of my gameplay I still haven't reach the end. Not even close. If you want to spend a lot of time on a game that will catch you and won't let go, that's the right game for you.
There is pretty big map (and devs are planning or expanding), honestly I haven't even been at every single location (I guess no one was). A lot of content you can do from wars (ZvZ, GvG, 5v5 arena) to farming, gathering, trading or just crafting (like I do). This game has been designed that it would take you thousands of hours to unlock and master every single node from mastery board (I think there isn't such player, who would have everything unlocked on only one character). While this game is really fun, it's not for solo players, so you have to find bigger guild or alliance (you can start in small one, and after while go to bigger one). Also the beginnings are pretty boring, you need to play for at least two weeks to be able to get to the "fun content" (unless you like gathering resources and crafting - you could do that straight from the start).
