I own this because I like basketball and unfortunately there isn't any alternative on PC.
On a real note, this game is nigh unplayable online due to the plague of cheaters that use the same tool from 5 years ago and still isn't patched. I bought this to play MyLeague but that is down right not fun. The AI will miss every open shot they take but also sink every 100% contested shot even if they are fouled. I just want to play semi-realistic basketball on PC.

Shameful game at the end of the day. This is a worse game than the original Star Wars Lego games in every way. While I am not as young as when they came out the game is laughably easy with puzzles that always complete themselves. The only good addition is the combat system which is poorly done. There are not enough enemies to use it on as common ones die too soon to even actually combo against and bosses almost always have immunity to regular attacks unless you are countering a move. There's also a lack of enemies outside of the space battles in the open world to fight, sometimes in a Lego game I just want to switch my brain off and fight people with a lightsaber, I shouldn't have to spend as long finding a spawn point to do so. Platforming has also been removed completely with simple button presses advancing you to the next part of the level. At the end of the day this is an overpriced game that plays off nostalgia and I wish that I hadn't fallen for the trap myself upon release. I wish the game at least had more difficulty to it. I've yet to die once in the game, and while you can argue it's a kids game I feel that when paying full price for such a game in today's industry difficulty options should be present. I think that the very best thing this game could be described as is a let down, and for the worse side I consider it a vast downgrade from games that came out in 2005 with a higher asking price. There is attempt at mimicry of advancement when in reality we receive a pseudo-complex system for combat that boils down to "don't use the same attack more than 3 times consecutively", lobotomised platforming and self-playing puzzles.
