Early Access Review
It definitely has the potential to be a real fun game but there's a lot to be said on the current state of the game.

Cons:
- The AI is as smart as a brick, they have too much lenience, and will spot you one second and forget you existed the next.
- One-shot-ing every enemy if they haven't noticed you is too strong, when there are only a couple enemies around. It feels as if you are sneaking around the AI for your own pleasure, for you can just go around killing every enemy one by one; in fact, by the end of my run of the "Early Access" part of the game, the map was empty, as I had killed every enemy that populates it.
- Combat can be gamed. The axe-wielding enemy is a non issue, there aren't enough gun enemies to really serve a threat, and enemies come at you one by one, unless you purposefully do something to alert the entire area; they will not alert each other from what I saw in my game, if they do, it simply doesn't happen enough.
- The "Early Access" section of the game can be beat in 2 hours, so if that sounds like a bit much to be putting $20 for "potential" then I would suggest avoiding it. Additionally, I understand the desire for feedback in developing the game, but releasing a game that's not even close to being half baked and asking for $10 per hour of gameplay, is egregious.
- Money, in the game, is useless, don't worry about it.
- Half the "tools" available in the game can be useless; there is no need to use a gun or shotgun, for the knife (sword?) is more than enough. Throwing glass bottles to distract enemies is futile, when they are in position to be killed anyways, there is no need to move them from their pre-destined spot/path.
- Even in what is currently the hardest difficulty, I found it hard to die; and instead found it easier to walk into a wall, glitch out, and die from that rather than an enemy.
- The gameplay is pretty linear, even if the map is not; despite multiple options to go to a place, the things you do while going there are very much the same.
- Don't climb the ropes, that is a good way to die.

Pros:
- Its a lot of fun, if you choose to sneak, the early parts of the game feel very rewarding.
- The fishery shows a lot of potential for future map design.
- The atmosphere and character design are very well done and give the world a unique feeling.
- There are some genuinely good moments, where the game feels eerie, and, or, scary.
- There is a lot of potential, but that's a 'soft' pro. Potential means nothing unless its met.

Conclusion:
This game isn't an investment, there is no "real" return for putting money behind the potential of a game; games are a product and you get something for your purchase. In its current state, I can't recommend anyone to put money behind what little there is here, and would suggest waiting; if the game really does meet its potential, it will be well worth the full price of the game. My suggestion is to be patient with this one.

Hard learning curve, but rewarding to learn. Mute everyone for your own mental health.

Edit: Comment on this if you swing the other way.

You shoot robots with cool guns, until the game decides you had too much fun, and it gets incredibly harder to shoot robots with cool guns.

Simply put the DLC is not worth the added mechanics; The lackluster government reforms being the center of the DLC really shows what one will get out of it. A few buffs here and there, every so many years is not worth the asking price. The other parts of the DLC are pretty OK, but nothing worth raving about.
