Typically when growing up, a certain moral compass is instilled in a person in their younger years. I'll make a presumption here, and (hopefully) presume your upbringing wasn't of major disruptive event, you had a relatively "normal" (what is normal nowadays haha) upbringing, so you should have a good understanding of what is polite, and what is rude. What is acceptable socially and what isn't. So what I'm communicating to you, is the question of; why did you think it was acceptable to not respond?
1. You haven't seen the message.
(This could be for two "subsection" reasons:)
1a. you haven't been online throughout the night as you were doing something else with your time.
1b. You have been online, but didn't check this server. (seems strange not to check all your servers if you have time to browse in your free time though?)
2. You have seen the message, but haven't responded.
Following the earlier formula:
2a. You were distracted. This is highly unlikely though as you wouldn't be able to go on discord if you were in a frequently disturbed environment, like your home or a train-ride, so there are still gaps in your reasoning?
They delude themselves to think positively. Feeding lies to be happy with what they got.
They consist of two layers: the 80%, and the 20%. The 80% work trivial jobs. They already find existence challenging enough, i.e. they have difficulties keeping jobs. The concept of "human values" are only there to persuade you into thinking that your faults are okay. Example: it's okay that you failed an exam. This is akin to accepting yourself, no matter how defective one actually is.
We are as stuck in life as people with low/average IQ, with the difference being that we see the world as a gigantic circus. I am part of this last group.
