Elden Ring is another slam dunk for the boys at From Software, bringing new life to their games by making an incredibly dense open world.

This is the most welcoming Souls game they have ever introduced, other people have said that this game is as difficult as you want it to be & I somewhat agree with that statement. With the open world shaped the way it is, there is nothing stopping the player from detouring away from a difficult boss or location & simply doing something else & then returning later much stronger than before. It's a smart way to appease both players that want the trademark difficulty but getting more people looking at this game with a sense of possibility of them actually being able to finish it.

I believe this game did exactly what it wanted to in terms of concept & goals, some of the polish that normally comes with a souls game I do believe is lacking to an extent. Some boss fights do feel as if their difficulty is inflated arbitrarily by multiple boss', one shot mechanics even at high levels of health, etc. Small things that I don't believe ruin the game as a whole, but do cause frustration.

I can't wait to see where this this game continues, it is most likely just the beginning for this game & the recognition is well deserved & the DLC is something I am excited to finish.

FromSoftware has an incredible way to make video games feel every type of emotion while experiencing them in their entirety.

No matter what you know about their past games, you can always expect interesting character design choices. World crafting, & level details are not lacking in this game either. Exploring is a constant thing in Souls games that never changes to give players a deeper understanding & context to the area they are in. In-Game events constantly change what is happening to areas, & to NPCs as well.

Gameplay is not for everyone, which is literally any game that has ever created. But learning this game was particularly difficult for me at first, understanding Souls combat from other titles may have hurt my learning ability of this game more than helped. It is NOT a cookie cutter Dark Souls, they have created a very unique fighting experience that is not only terribly frustrating to fully learn & embrace, but one that is equally as rewarding & beautiful when done correctly. Watching someone with experience in this game fight any of the bosses or even regular enemies is something beautiful & adrenaline inducing. This combat is a skill, learning this game is a skill, but if fighting enemies in this game looks cool to you, I suggest you embrace the early lumps of death & push past them to better yourself as a Sekiro player.

The only Cons I have with this game gameplay wise is when fighting in compact areas the camera has a tendency to spaz out, losing focus of the targeted enemy. Second would be inconsistency of the grappling hook & movement mechanics in general, it doesn't feel awful to swing around with the grappling hook at all, it's very satisfying when it works well. The problem is sometimes it seems that your character should make a certain grapple distance, resulting in the opposite where you fall off a cliff instead. Two small gripes for a very beautiful, cinematic, challenging, rewarding, & jaw-dropping game Sekiro is.

8.5 / 10

There are a lot of people not happy with how the game was handled over the course of the Iceborne expansions lifetime. What I do know is the people who probably wrote their reviews love the Monster Hunter series as a whole & this review is catered to those like me, have made this their entrance into the series. This is for Iceborne though & I still do believe this is worth the 40$ with all of the extra content you get to the base game. I completely recommend that anyone who finishes World, please continue, you got your feet wet, now go play the real game.

If you don't buy this game because of "Microtransactions" or anything related to grinding for gear, you're really missing out.

I'm a huge advocate for the old ways of earning cosmetics in games, like the old CoD days when you'd earn skins for your favorite weapon by using it. This game rewards you In-Game currency for playing literally anything. They also give you the "Premium" currency handily by also, just playing the game. Everytime you level up you will receive a small amount.

The premium currency can be bought for money, but I couldn't even tell you the prices for them because never once was I enticed to or pushed upon to by that type of currency. The only purpose for that currency is to have the chance to directly buy an cosmetic/intro/player card that you do not own. The funny thing is I have bought probably 6-7 things from that store & have never purchased the premium currency.

I'm new to fighting games as a whole, but Mortal Kombat in a general sense of marketing & business is amazing, to me at least. Reward a player for playing their favorite character, beating the story, doing towers that rotate every 2 or so hours for a chance to get ANOTHER skin for your character(s). It's a reason to open MK & see what's going on, to see if the skin you want is up for grabs, IF you can beat the tower(s) to gain it.

I love the MK universe & the community along with it. Try this game & trust me if you give it a fair chance I don't think you'll be disappointed with the gameplay, visuals, or business practice.

Don't review games often, I'm the majority that plays the game & if it's good continues to play it.

This game is one of the best games I've ever played VR or not. If you're old enough to remeber the day Guitar Hero came out, that is the same kind of feeling that this game gave me. I've showed it to all my friends & family, I've convinced one person to purchase a VIVE, one to purchase and Oculus, & 3 others to buy PlayStationVR for this game alone.

With the modding community it gives this game nonstop replayability. You practically don't have to play the same song twice if you don't want to theres that much support.

One thing I'd like to give to people who (hopefully) mod this game to allow for all of the songs they could ever ask is this. Do not get discouraged while progressing through the skill groups in the game. The difference with this game to Guitar Hero like mentioned earlier, is Guitar Hero required a lot of dexterity in your fingers or at least for me. This game all you need to do is move your body, thats a bit easier & more natural. You WILL struggle with harder songs your first few times, but trust me & give yourself a few days of good practice and it will just come naturally to you. For example, my GF who doesn't play video games almost ever is in love with this game. She went from playing normal songs on normal speeds to Expert level with even faster song modifier on.

Again I don't review normally but if this convices even one person to support these Devs it is 100% worth it for me.

Before you buy a drone, download this (please understand you need any kind of controller to play), it will make you understand, it will make you a better pilot. It has fully convinced me that purchasing my first quadcopter won't be done blindly. The guys who made this deserve way more credit.

Save your money.

I've played this game for over 300 hours and wanted to release a review on this game on, hopefully, a full release day. But that is not going to come. I genuinely feel bad for people are optimistic of these developers. It's been so long, so long without a patch, or even an action from these guys that I would say a majority of the consumers are actually HAPPY with.

This game was so much fun at the beginning. Running through cities with your friends meeting people, fighting people, exploring the huge world of Chernarus. But in my opinion, the developers turned in a direction where I think only the minority supported, which was HARDCORE & UNBELIEVABLY challenging survival. It's so difficult to stay alive in this game, and that's counting dangers from other players. Because trust me you won't see any for hours. When you do find another player, assuming he has a weapon he will probably tell you to "Hey, stop right there" & you attempt to engage in some conversation and you're already dead because it's his first oppurtunity to shoot something that's not already dead (and broken) zombies, in hours as well.

I hope I'm wrong. I really do, but to this moment which is over 4 years after the first inital release of this game I don't even think it's even considered beta yet? Does that say something at all? 4 years? We're still in alpha? Save the money.
