Below Zero expands the overarching story of 4546B. The main story was good, Robin's personal story was pretty boring and at times it was painfully obvious that its only purpose was to support the main story.

Still talking about the story, it feels more linear, you get clearer objectives and as a result don't feel as lost as you did in Subnautica. There's very apparent positive and negative aspects to this, but I ultimately think it's subjective so I'm not gonna go into detail on this.

The "terrestrial" part of the game was an interesting change and I commend them for trying this out, but most of it just ended up feeling more like a chore to me.

The rest of it is pretty much just as fun as Subnautica was and I still recommend this game. Just don't think of it as Subnautica 2 but more like a standalone expansion for Subnautica (which, if I'm not mistaken, the devs also kind of intended it to be).

One of the best and most investing games I've ever played. I know saying this sounds like an inflated, overused expression at best and absolutely delusional at worst - but it's absolutely true.
