If you remember playing Swords & Potions (2) as a kid, this game is the exact same thing but made in China. It feels just as good and honestly after a good bit of time is nearly indistinguishable in my mind, bar the horrific translations. It's free and I wouldn't call it p2w, yeah it takes a while but think of it as an idle game; paying would hardly skip any time at all so just accept that it'll take some time and it's very fun

this is one of those very rare games i play that makes me think about more than just my actions. makes me feel something. one of those instances where i feel like my real-life character is dependent on what buttons i press. if you're big into Thinking and Feeling you'll like this game.

Game feels like a beautiful blend between Valheim and Breath of the Wild, I've 100%'ed the game (according to steam, I'm sure I've missed some smaller things), and I found it enjoyable the whole way through. The building system allows for a lot of amazing builds that will only get better as players get more familiar with it, and the combat difficulty is honestly not bad. I ran the entire game as an underleveled solo melee character and died only to my inability to glide -- although I never felt like I could leave my guard down in a new area.

Overall amazing experience even in its infancy, and it will only get better with time.

Phenomenal game with great experiences in both PVP and PVE. Yes, a lot of the game is sort of a walking simulator if you don't allow all items to be teleported (this is likely due to clan PVP balancing, where it makes sense to have valuable items be more easily lost). That doesn't mean the game is inherently bad though: It's been great fun to both push this game to its limits and muck around with friends or randoms. The building system is surprisingly good compared to first impressions, and if you're the sort who loves creative building in Valheim or other similar titles I highly suggest picking up this game for the building alone.

The blood system is an incredible idea and the way gear score separates progress from an exp-based grind as seen in similar titles is amazing. It's, once again, like Valheim, in that your progress in the game is entirely dependent on what you're wearing (or eating, in Valheim). Apart from the unoptimized memory usage of this game, the only issues I really ever run into are how the game can become very easy once you're familiar with it, but I've seen an equal number of people complain things are hard, so that might just be down to your comfort with this style of combat.

Instead of writing a praising review, I'm going to respond to the most common reasons I see cited for negative reviews:

1. Inventory management:
Inventory management has been changed lately to address some of people's complaints, but I still feel like it's important to mention that the old 6-slot system was fine. You need to kill 2 enemies in this entire game (1 with artifact), and that's it. You don't need to spend 4 out of 6 slots on weapons and ammo. Please, PLEASE learn to think critically, "Is this really necessary?" because it's not. You can beat this entire game without picking up a gun.

2. It's tedious/It's slow/Too much backtracking
You're not managing your inventory well, and/or you're spending too much time in combat. I can beat this game in 40 minutes. Some of the negative reviews have exceedingly slow times and that's alright, you don't have to play fast; But you also don't have to play slow. You are the one in control of that, please understand that.

3. Respawning enemies (in/and) Tight hallways
If you're not constantly running through a room, respawns won't be a big issue. The main issue I have with this complaint is that you have plenty of ammo to kill the enemies you have issues avoiding: Even for perma-kills, 3 thermite in floors 3-4 of S-23 is enough to take out all 3 single-enemy hallways. Also, the hallways are not '"too tight to avoid enemies". Did you know you can shove enemies with [space] to stun them? In most areas it's not necessary, although a few (some rooms in NOWHERE and Rotfront come to mind) are admittedly a little close if you're not shoving.

4. Story is hard to tell, lore is jumbled, etc.
Yeah. That's a stylistic choice, very obviously. This game has a non-euclidean space in it and you're complaining about a non-linear storyline. It very clearly is not intended to cleanly recite the plot to you. I personally love the story, because it constantly makes you re-evaluate everything once it shows you a new detail: it's fun to think sometimes, you know. Whether it is or isn't a metaphor, whichever ending is "true", etc, are all subjective. The developers have outright stated that they want this to be up for interpretation. If the story was told to you, that wouldn't be possible. Ever read The King In Yellow? It's ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ deranged, and that's okay.

5. Puzzles are annoying
This complaint is really polarizing, a lot of the negative reviews praise the puzzles and a lot criticize them. Hate spending 40 minutes on a single puzzle? Genuinely, do more intellectual activities. I'm not calling people dumb, but I am saying if you're not used to doing puzzles or any sort of logical work that the game becomes far harder. It's not the game's fault, it's your fault, and you can remedy it yourself.

TLDR: People dislike that the game forces you to think. You have to think about combat. You have to think about what to bring. You have to think about the story. You have to think about the puzzles. That's ok. A game doesn't have to railroad you, and it can punish you for mistakes. Doesn't mean the game's bad, just means it's not your style.

Uturuncu is a dormant volcano in the Sur Lípez Province of Bolivia. It is 6,008 metres (19,711 ft) high, has two summit peaks, and consists of a complex of lava domes and lava flows with a total volume estimated to be 50–85 km3. It bears traces of a former glaciation, even though it does not currently carry glaciers. Volcanic activity took place during the Pleistocene epoch and the last eruption was 250,000 years ago; since then Uturuncu has not erupted but active fumaroles occur in the summit region, between the two summits.

The volcano rises within the Altiplano–Puna volcanic complex, a larger province of large volcanoes and calderas which over the last few million years (mya) have emplaced about 10000 km3 of ignimbrites[a] in sometimes very large eruptions. Underneath it lies the so-called Altiplano–Puna magmatic body, a large sill formed by partially molten rocks.

Starting in 1992, satellite observations have indicated a large area of regional uplift centered on Uturuncu, which has been interpreted as an indication of large-scale magma intrusion under the volcano. This might be a prelude to large-scale volcanic activity, including "supervolcanic" activity and caldera formation.
